Just a few sketches and drawings from comics and stuff from around the 'net. I can't be arsed to go scanning in sketchbooks and mountains of stuff in right now so here's whats lurking on my laptop.

Inked at home but the scanner made it all nasty, so I edited it all in Photoshop later on.

Photoshop. I messed up the mouth pretty badly, no matter how much I eyed the original drawings mouth. Couldn't be bothered in the end so now I just try to avoid looking below the moustache... or whatever it is. Got lazy doing the cheek blushes so I just went all circle-tool on them so they look a bit lifeless and mechanical.

For a mate, after watching the awesomeness that is Judge Dredd. I couldn't be bothered to edit the scanners messiness in 'shop so I left it.

Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead. I'm not sure where this is anymore but either way I was way too heavy on some of the lines so it looks a bit 2D/cardboard cut-out layered. Ah well

In the corner... **** knows, same with the square man, but I had just finished reading 30 Days of Night. I've quite a few vampires drawn in the style of that graphic, but this is all I could find. Pretty basic, nothing special. lol at the exessive shadows on blokes face but what ho.

They're all saying something in common. The first thing that stood out, to me, were the shadowed objects (left side).

Wanna do something interesting? Try drawing with only your left eye open. It can be... revealing.

milk: I probably went a little overboard on shadows in some cases. Too much Sin City methinks. Either way, the left shadows of the zombie, around the mouth... well that was actually a mistake haha, I messed up the mouth pretty badly so I just doused in shadow. Doesn't make much sense but whatever.

Will do, too. I'm preparing a portfolio at the moment so any random doodles in a different manner to the usual methods is most welcome, something they'll want to see, etc.
