Hey all,

I'm a mapper for Off Limits, and we're currently trying to add another member or two to the roster in the mapping department. Everything's coming along nicely in terms of development, but we could really use some more content in the map area.

Basically, it's a team based multiplayer mod in which there are 3 factions: two human teams, and a near indestructible alien, which both teams are trying to kill.

Our current team is rather small, about 12 of us all together, and progress is solid. We do need big maps, though, so it can be a time consuming process.

You can check out our page here. Don't let the Belgian URL scare you: we have members from Malaysia, New Zealand, New York, and the UK.

We're pretty relaxed in our pace and approach and are doing this for fun, so don't expect any hard core slave driving work schedules or anything of that nature.

If you're interested, feel free to PM me, swing by our forums, or contact me on msn.

I was asked to add a couple points: we also have people from Canada and Australia, and just because we're layed back doesn't mean we want slackers :D

Here are some thumbs of our current WIP maps:

Do you guys have a fair amount of custom textures?

Those maps look fabulous by the way.

yes, this is a very nice looking mod (great concept btw, very original). I'll send you a PM, maybe I can hook you up with some of my old mappers.

Wow Nick, you're back ?
Kinda missed you after you left Mercury Sky :(

We already have a lot of custom textures and props... maybe 100 or so textures at this point, maybe more (I've not counted), at least 50-75 custom props thus far as well. There abouts... I'm not sure of exact numbers. If we need something, we make it. We do have a very skilled prop modeller (Simon), as well as some great texture guys.

Ennui: Thanks :D We're pretty proud of the work we've done so far. It's been a learning process, but we're all pretty active at critiquing one another's work, and I think the total quality really benefits from it.

Ahh, your modeller posts his work in the Modelling forums every so often, right? Because what I've seen is pretty high quality. As in, I look at it and go D:

Yeah. I think his username is simon.wt

I know he does post stuff here periodically.

I actually thought I'd apply as a level designer to your mod today, but reality caught up with me... draging me back to my real work.

Oh well, keep up to good work!
