Inspired by the "Menial things that scare you ****ing SHITLESS " thread, I have created this thread.

One morning, when I woke up, I found the light was on, and their was blood on the light switch. I was so freaked out I woke up my parents. My parents say they have never touched it, I am known to sleep walk, but still...
Another time I looked out the window, and their was a man dressed in blue, but as soon as the eye could focus, he was gone. I was pretty freaked out, I get scared easy. :cheese:
Post yours! I wanna have sleepless nights!

Angry Laywer's scare-the-s**t-out-of-me story.

One time I was sleeping and for no reason I woke up and there was this guy with like half of his face-skin ripped off and the end of my bed, I jumped up like 2 feet, I blinked my eyes, and then we was gone..

I didn't get back to sleep.

Probably the scariest thing I've ever seen. That guy was messed.

That almost made me get out of this seat and check my bed. If I could be bothered.

This happened just a few days ago. Not really scary, more creepy I guess.

Last week I was house sitting for my sister who was on vacation with her husband. At this point they were gone for about 4 days so there was definitely no one there but me in the apartment. One night I ran out to the store to grab a couple things, was gone maybe 15 minutes tops. I get back and everything seems fine, but as I'm walking through the living room in one spot I get a big wiff of cologne (I don't wear cologne, especially this kind) like when you pass by someone that laid it on heavy. No other place just this one spot and it hung there for about 10 minutes. It was kinda weird in that there was nothing at all in the whole apartment that had that scent. Definitely felt like someone else had been there.

I woke up one morning and there was shippi. With an umbrella.

I almost cried.

A long time ago in california, my brother, dad and I were staying over at the house of my dad's girlfriend of the time. Anyways, I had my favorite teddy ruxpin mechanical doll. One that moved its eyes and stuff, and sang from a tape.

During the night while we were sleeping... SOMETHING happened to it. The left eye of the dall had managed to get completely shattered. It was one of those glass/ceramic eyes, and when I woke up(was sleeping on the carpeted floor of the living room, the eyeball inside the socket was completely shattered, as if somebody took it out and hit it with a hammer. The other eye was fine, everything else was fine. But that eye was shattered.

Nothing really could explain what happened to that ruxpin doll while I was sleeping. My dad wouldn't of done it, his girlfriend certainly wouldn't of. My brother was sleeping the entire time and couldn't of.

The house was near an old abandoned railroad track, and my dad's girlfriend claimed the tracks and the house were haunted.

Haven't posted in OT for like a year but I saw this thread and I have to tell you guys about this:

I used to have a single recurring dream. I had it for years, to the point where it eventually really began to bother me. From when I was about 12 until I left for college, I would have this same dream, about once a week. It would start atop a set of stairs. A spiral staircase. The kind with ornate carpet and thick wooden railings carved with intricate designs. In front of the staircase were three huge stainglassed windows that were lit up brilliantly. The windows showed various scenes from the New Testament. There were potted plants at the bottom of the staircase.

In the dream, I would float down the staircase. Took about a minute tops. And that's it. The dream would end.

Several years after the dreams stopped, I was touring F. Scott Fitzgerald's house in Minnesota with my parents. I was never a huge fan of Fitzgerald but my mother is obsessed with the guy. Anyway, we were touring the house and I had to use the restroom so I asked the tourguide where I could find one. "Just go around the corner, down the stairs and it'll be on your left," she said.

Alright. Easy enough. I turn the corner, and I stop cold. Right in front of me, is the exact spiral staircase from my dream. The color of the carpet, the feel of the railings, the variety of plants, even the shadows from the light streaming through the stained glass were all exactly the same. Left window: Sermon on the Mount. Middle window: Last Supper. Right window: Cruxifiction. I'd seen this scene in my dreams literally hundreds of times before. I am absolutely CONVINCED that this was the same staircase. Anyway, after I catch my breath, I'm thinking, "Umm.....okay, am I gonna like die if I walk down the stairs or something?"

Well, I decided to tempt fate and took the plunge. Walked down the stairs, used the bathroom and rejoined the group.

Crazy right? It happened.

I remember one of my mothers friends house, me and her son would play hide and seek there when his mom and my mom were out bar-hopping. Well, this was around the time "Children Of The Corn" came out, and his house was a 2 story OLD house surrounded by corn fields in the middle of nowhere. Random noises in the house..all sorts of scary things. I remember one day I swear to god I saw a floating knife and a fork... I ran out to get my friend, and came back, and they were on the counter....he said he didn't put them there...and his mother was out for the day.

To this day, if I think about it, I can't sleep..

Here I am, ready to sleep to, DAMNIT

I once had a real bad night spasm which knocked me outta my bed. At first I thought a ghost had picked me up and gave me a good chuck, but I had read about these things prior and just lolled it off.

So you just went to the loo. You didn't feel anything? I'm not a paranormal expert, but why would you dream of that staircase if it just led to the toilet? And how come I never get a vision?

Welcome to the club. Angry Laywers story made me spend like three hours tossing and turning.

Once I saw a guy who was made of blood and he had fingers made of blood and these bloodfingers were actually a tarantula. But this one was one of those non-poisonous tarantulas so in the end it was really only a threat to creatures no larger than a bird and when I woke up my pillow was missing!!

You had a vision of your own piss-taking! What an incredible feat!

Angry Laywer's scare-the-s**t-out-of-me story.

One evening, I was home alone... in my room, lying on my bed watching The Sixth Sense.
I believe it was at the scene where the kid is in his tent, and he sees this dead girl in it.

About 5 seconds after this scene's done, my closet door just... slowly opened for no reason at all.
I was like paralyzed with fear, unable to move... my eyes just fixated on that damn door.
I then felt a small cool breeze brush across my face, and the breeze managed to move my window blinds.
No window was opened, and my door was shut.

I never managed to get out of the bed until my parents came home late at night, and opened the door.
Thus sufficiently scaring the shit out of me, yet again.

Shortly afterwards, I found my cat sleeping in the damn closet. :|
Never did find out where the breeze came from though.

Oh my god! Teddy Ruxpin I used to have one of those :D

I tore it to shreds one day. I dont even know why I used to just destroy things sometimes. :(

IT WAS HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My house has a poltergeist, it likes to hide things for a while just as you desperately need them - and then after a few hours of looking, it puts them in stupid places. For example, I lost a CD I desperately needed, 3 hours later it turned up in the middle of my keyboard. It happens so frequently now its just not funny.

Sometimes the lounge goes cold all of a sudden, and the smell of pipe smoke fills the room. When this happens, if my dog is in the room, she gets edgy and looks at a blank space as if she's looking at someone that I can't see. It was eerie at first but you kinda get used to it.

You all know what happened between me and those matchsticks. Props to whomever can find a link to the post.

Next time that hapens, go over to your dog and look where it's looking, right over it's head, between it's ears. You should see the ghostie D:

Get him some victims, and in turn make an agreement that he gets you stuff that you desperately need :p

"Dammit, where are my socks D:"
*WOOOOSH*
"Awesome."

Damn those dead people who got all eternity to be a total dick.

I woke up one morning and there was shippi. With an umbrella.

I almost cried.

^o^ you're back!

Not too long ago, I was woken up by the sound of footsteps near my bedroom. Now, because of the A/C, I can't usually hear things clearly, but the footsteps could be heard loud and clear. Next thing I knew I was falling asleep and then I felt pressure on my feet - as if someone was pressing their hands against my feet. Then I looked over to my right and the clothes I had put on the floor were thrown all over the place.

Worst night ever.

Both of my parents claim to have seen a young soildier with a rifle sitting in the corner of our living room looking frightened, as if he were hiding from someone.

I asked my mom to describe him, and she gave an exact description of a confederate sodier from the Civil War.

My dad has also seen an old woman in a rocking chair sitting in the middle of my room, knitting.

As for me, I've seen doors inexplicably open/close, along with random spots of warm and cold air. That may just be because our house is old and drafty.

I have enough paranormal stories that have happened to friends to write a novel.

For me though? Probably the weirdest thing to ever happen was when my stereo turned on randomly in the middle of the night, with the line "BACKSTREET'S BACK, ALRIGHT!" before it turned off.

This would only be mildly weird if it wern't for the fact that the stereo wasn't plugged in, either *shrug*

My aunt's house is haunted. She will occasionally see an old man in the house, just floating along.

It's an old house, miners used to live in it.

There's also a back stair case, and you always hear footsteps going up and down it...usually in the middle of the night, sometimes during the day. One of the baby sitters has heard it so much that she's learned to ignore it.

My sister was sleeping in one of the bedrooms when a little train model started working and a clock alarm went off.

The keyboard also randomly plays this laughing sound. . .

Anyway...

"BACKSTREET'S BACK, ALRIGHT!"
LMAO. Not really scary, but just wierd. I remember once I was sitting in the living room with my cousin, just watching tv. Then we heard this loud crash upstairs. We bolted straight to my room and blockaded the door. After about 5 minutes we decided to stop acting like pussies and go check it out. We got upstairs and the hanger for the window curtains was on the other side of the room. Don't know how it got there, don't really wanna know.

I once saw a guy walk into a bar and say "Ouch."

Horrifying!

Nothing has happenned to me personally, but lots to my friends. I've made threads about it.

This thread is not a good thing to read when you are laying in bed in the dark with your tv on mute btw. Anyway the most freaky thing that happened to me is we use to live in a old farm house that was suppose to be haunted with a old doctor and his family from the civil war. So I was like 7 and I was walking into the bathroom to see a man in a black suit looking in the mirror without thinking anything of it I thought it was my dad and walked back downstairs just in time to see my dad walk in the front door. Confused I asked him was he just in the bathroom and he replied no that he had been out the last hour and I was the only one in the house except for my older sister who had no friends over. So I went back upstairs with my dad to see if the man was still there and there was nothing. About a week later I was in the kitchen and we had all of our pots and pans hanging from their handles.. I had all of the doors and windows shut and no air on because it was kinda cold outside so the pots and pans started to bang together like something was walking into them. My mom was just playing around and said HEY STOP HITTING THOSE POTS! Then they just stopped.

I mean't the curtain story wasn't really scary. I can imagine being woken up by the ****street Boys would be scary.

Oh! I do have one bit of an anecdote.... Awhile ago, things started idsappearing. Mostly food, but wierd things, like a package of cubed ham, cake mix, I think some spaghetti sauce. And our napolean dynamite dvd. And our best of No Doubt cd. I think it was more like some hungry hobo with weird tastes had broken into our house, but it happened over a period of time, a couple months maybe. I actually doubt very much it was anything like ghosts.

That reminded me...

Something that I still can't figure out (I'm sure there is some logical reason, but I can't figure it out) was back when I had a GBC with Pokemon Yellow in it (it just came out).

Basically, I was in a US football stadium with my dad (not much for sports, but I went to make him feel good), and while walking down a sloped walkway after the game ended (playing the GBC while walking), I ended up dropping the GBC on the ground in the middle of a battle.

I picked it back up fearing the worst, and when I looked at the screen (I swear to god this happened) the battle text box read "OUCH!" and then it turned off.

I saved before hand, but what the hell!? Can anyone explain this one?

Your games are telling you to be careful?

Edit: They have feelings too, dammit!

Edit 2: Um, a really, really quiet sound like wind blowing and howling just came out of my speakers. Should I be afraid?
