Offical 360 Steering Wheel

Well, I just ordered one of these but also heard some rumours that they explode into balls of flames killing the driver... is this true? I'm not that worried really as it has a Microsoft warrenty for stuff like that. But if I can avoid it then it would be nice. Basiclly the question I'm asking is I know the steering wheel is more powerful with force feedback when its plugged into the mains. But does this cause the issue? Also, as long as I'm not playing it for stupid amounts of time while plugged into the mains, do ya think it will be alright?

I'm not sure if anyone has had any experiance with the steering wheel and such but I thought someone might have come across more stories than myself to clean up the... shall I plug it in or not...

Exploding? WHAT!?

Never heard of that, worst thing I've heard about is problems with the controller leaning a bit one way or the other, but that can be fixed easily

They supposely fixed it, but if starts to shock you or starts to smoke, just don't plug it in period.

When you use the AC Adapter, it's possible it could start to smoke after very very intense usage.

However, if you're getting a new one, or see the above behavior, MS will replace it for free with one which has the issue resolved.
