Post your praise, your hate, your comments/pictures/anything! Since Sup Com is released, people have their hands on the final product, what do you think?

The performance is still sluggish at times, but I just end up lowering the settings down a notch and I get back up to smooth frames. The UEF campaign is a little..sluggish imho. It lacked an actual ...story I guess.

Why is it that whenever there is a device that's being constructed to end the war, the enemy always knows about it. Can't people keep a secret?

And..

At the end of the UEF campaign, Brackman is seen blowing up. But he's in the Cybran campaign apparently *Haven't played it yet, was looking through the booklet.* So it's not following a time line, then.

All in all, GREAT game. Lovin' it.

I'll probably buy this in the next few days. I have a ?20 voucher card for Game leftoever from Christmas.

I got this cool little...card thing. The one that changes what you see at different angles. It has the 3 factions on it, freaking awesome. I want to frame it :D

Yah I heard that SupComs collectors edition is actually one worth getting.

I got it in the mail. I'm too sleepy to play though.

I've been playing it. Haven't bothered with the campaign.

Terrible, terrible connection issues. I've only been able to join 3 games, in one of them I was against a total newb 1v1 and ended up porcing and waiting for him to amass exactley 15 tier II tanks, at which point I crushed him with two monkeylords, a battleship and 94 tier 1 bombers. On another game I was alive for all of 1 minute before a newb (who called himself "pro") decided to walk his commander straight into my base. On the final game I really did deserve to lose...but I had help from the fact that aeon are extremely overbalanced on finn's revenge.

How come the US didn't get the collectors edition :(

Never mind all i didnt get in my edition was the Exclusive signed lenticular card. Which sucks, i want it!

I got it... \=

i wish the different factories produced different engineers, like in how in ta the air factory would produce flying engineers, etc.

i miss having a continuous circle of a hundred lvl3 engineers circling my krogoth factory. :(

I got mine a few hours ago and have been playing it nonstop D:

Holy Lag Batman.

But, it is fun. I just beat the first mission for the Cybran nation.

The game is wildly fun, I cant wait to get back into multiplayer. I Just wish the campaigns worked linear. Like timeline wise. After UEF campaign, after Black Sun was fired, the Cybran campaign kicks in. They would have to rework the ending cinematic but that's not hard.

Played 2 games on lan last night. It's pretty good, and I'll have to try it more, but one thing that bugs me is early base rushes seem kind of pointless, and T1 units in general get phased out within minutes.

Played 1 mp game. Tryed playing another blue screen of death...Updated drivers now i cant even start the game without a bluescreen. GREAT!

not if you have LOTS of them D:

beat the uef campaign in about 5-6 hours or so I'd say yesterday.

I've been playing for a few days now. It just seems to lag up pretty bad with multiple enemies on screen, but then again my system isn't that great.

Seen it played on my course with our lovely Dell XPS's :P

Looks good, but jusus... it takes ages to build something...

i played suco @ pitz house yesterday and man. he is right this game is pretty hot. i play multiplaya with me 2bots on normal and 1 supreme ai bot.

he sodomized us all. it was a sad sad day.

I've become a fan of the cheap unit wave.

I've been honing the strategy of getting several land factories with engineer assistance churning out ridiculous frams per second killing hordes of easily killed infantry bots. I can pop out 100 or more in like three minutes. All i have to do is slap a few anti air units in there and a few tanks for extra firepower and i can weild the horde like a giant ameoba. Best part is that by the time the first horde is destroyed, i've already contructed its replacement. Its fun as hell.

Of course all it takes is a few turrets or bombers to destroy half my cheap horde, but that doesn't matter. Because i can keep up sending nonstop hordes into a base faster than my enemy can rebuild. mwahaha

I end up suffering losses in the thousands, but still winning

The only bad thing about that is a simple strat change on their end will render that completely useless. It's always good to have 1 or 2 land factories teching up so you can keep them guessing at what you're going to throw at them next.

Yeah i know, still though, i love killing enemy commanders with a death of a thousand pin pricks XD

hahaha, all you need to defeat that strat is a radar station and a few turrets

not to mention that it doesn't really work at all on large maps

Unless you build 5 land factories behind his base with a stealth field generator :O

only the cybran stealth field generators are big enough to do that

and it's likely to fail too when the units go out of the field

man, the minimal gui in the latest patch is neat.

i can't wait for some good tweak guides, mods, console commands, etc to come out.

Then build LOTS! :D Mobile stealth field generators anybody?

that works too D:

incidentally I tried an 80x80 map with the 4 hard ai's

it was going well until it crashed about an hour into the game (wasn't getting too good of an fps either)

Can I play this game in windowed mode?

EDIT; Nevermind I see in options it has a windowed mode. wish I could move it around though.
EDIT2: Oh cool, I can move it around. I shrunk it, then brought it back up, and now i can move it around and resize it. awesome.

I've got a quick question regarding the demo. Yestarday before going to sleep I played for a while and didn't bother to look for an answer.

There's this campaign mission in the demo and soon after you start, you get asked to build five bombers to attack some patrols near a facility. So I started building those bombers and as soon as each was finished it immediately flew somewhere out of the map bounds. I thought that maybe it's got some preset rally point and that once I build five bombers they will all be available for me to command. Looks like I was right, cause when I built the 5th bomber, all five appeared in a part of the map accessible for me, so I could select them.

However, when I was asked to build some fighters to get rid of enemy interceptors, the same thing happened, but this time, there was no requirement as to how many I've got to build. So after building about 7 fighters, all flying to some point out of my reach, I "intercepted" a freshly built one, asked it "excuse me, wtf r u doin" and ordered it to attack the enemy interceptors. It single-handedly shot down all 4-5 of them o__O, but I still don't know where the hell are my other 7 fighters that simply decided to fly away after being built. Is that some kind of bug, or is it supposed to be this way and I can call those AWOL gone units somehow?

It seems to me that they are on a rally point outside of bounds. The map does exist out there, you just can't see it, so they fly out there. Try clicking on the air factory, and push and hold Shift. You can see where the rally point is for that building, a blue line and a circle around a + sign...that's where they go by default.

Thanks, looks like you're right.

http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/7308/sced2.jpg (stunning framerate, BTW)

However when I click somewhere else and a new line appears, leading from the previous destination (which I can't see anyway, since it's off the map), it disappears after a few seconds and the fighters keep going God knows where. You probably played the demo, is it supposed to be that way? Will that destination change after I build a certain amount of fighters or what :?

Don't you just select the building then right-click on the ground?

That is exactly what you do. If you hold the shift button down then right click, the fighters will still go to wherever they are going, then end up at the end destination. Just let go of shift and right click where you want the rally point to be set *with the factory still selected*

And no, I never played the demo, but then again, I've never seen this happen, even with all my time on the beta \=

Yeah I did that, but as I said, the order gets canceled a few seconds after I place it.

it's a bug in the demo, although I didn't have it, I know someone who did.
