Official "Your Favorite Vehicle" Appreciation Thread

Gruppe 6 truck. Tough as nails yet very drivable and when it gets too damaged it explodes money! Woo-hoo!! :D

Handling is great and it's not overrated as much as sports and super cars.

Seconded. I actually prefer this to all the other fast cars for various reasons.

--The Sultan RS is sturdy but turns like a birck on ice skates.

--The Coquette spins out way to easily, as does the Banshee (though not as badly).

--Haven't driven a Feltzer in a while, but don't remember being too jazzed about the handling.

--Lastly, I was a big fan of the PGR4 rendition of the Enzo Ferrari, which the Turismo reminds me of.

The base model is called the Sultan. The model you drove its also a Sultan, but its a sport model and has a couple letters after, I believe GT but I'm not sure. Just know that there are 2 models, and the sport model is VERY rare. Almost as rare as the Turismo.

Edit: Its the Sultan RS, I see nokori3byo used the name in a comparison.
 
The Turismo isn't rare :p

There's a car dealership in Algonquin that only has Turismo's in a variety of colors. Just smash in the window, run in and steal one.

It's to the east of Central Park (or whatever it's called in GTA4).

I never could find Turismo's anywhere other then Faustin's house, until I got to Alderney :/
 
If you didn't see my edit: it's somewhere east of Central Park (or whatever it's called in GTA4).

Only dealership I've seen thus far is Exoticar, and all they seem to have are Patriots and Uranus (yes, theres a car called Uranus).

Gave the Premier the once over, #3 on the best cars list :D
 
The Grotti Turismo dealership is around the corner from your Algonquin safehouse.

I really like the comet but I've only found 3...ever. Where can I find more of them!?

My favourite car now is the feltzer I think it's called. I love everything about it. Closely followed by the Super GT

I find when I park the Comet in my parking space in Bohan, there are usually several others parked around the block--the same way that you'll occasionally see other Infernuses (Inferni?) around when you're driving your's. If this happens, just walk over, grab one and go park it in another of your spots.

Incidentally, does anyone care to specualte about what the strange farting sound the Sultan RS makes might be?

blow off valve, I believe the Sultan RS is turbo-charged.
 
Indeed. The Sultan RS seems to be a GTA style rendition of a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (probably 7th or 8th generation) and that sound you're hearing is the blow off valve from the cars turbocharger which sounds very similar to the one the Evo has...

Also i still love the games sport bikes but I would go with the Sultan RS for my favourite 4 wheeled vehicle thanks to its speed/handling/rarity/coolness factor... :)
 
Hey, speaking of vehicles what did people here use for the game's harder jumps--across the river in Alderney and so on?

I think for the river one I just used a banshee or something. Works with most cars so long as you get enough time to build up speed.

Unless your using a bus.

Most exotics will work on extremely long jumps, average jumps can be done with average cars (Futo, Feltzer, Sentinel, Taxi, Primier, Primo etc...)
 
Wow. After more than 60 hours of play, I took my first spin in the SuperGT today. I'm guessing it's kinda rare?
 
Can someone tell me all the locations of car dealership? I still haven't found none.
 
Took this custom looking Sentinel (had a hood scoop, spoiler, and those things on the rear window) its much better than a regular sentinel.
 
That's the mafia sentinel. I jacked the mafia sentinel in Little Italy and the guys who were driving same car near me pulled over and started shooting at me.

By the way, I've noticed that most of Sultan drivers are asians...

Also, isn't the secret car Sultan RS?
 
The Sultan RS isn't really secret, drive around in a normal Sultan and many Sultan RS's will show up. It's a beautiful thing when you have a Sultan RS and call Brucie to do a race against five other Sultans/Sultan RS's.

I wish those tuner shops were in GTA IV :(
 
There's an RS that is always parked behind a garage next to the old abandoned mansion near Pegerino's house, so there's no need to drive around in a regular Sultan. Its on the Northeast corner of Algonquin.
 
I don't think tricked out models of cars are any faster than the regular ones, with the exception of the RS.
 
My favorite car has got to be the Ruiner, I've abandoned Infernus's for Ruiners man.

Where can I find a SuperGT? It was in one of the missions but it got wasted in the process :| Now I can't find it anywhere.
 
Holy crap the Banshee in this game! I'm in love!
 
But the banshee has always been my favourite car in the series anyway (except the VC one XP) and I think it just looks perfect in this game, as well as handling great. I'm a Dodge Viper fan :p
 
I prefer bikes to Banshees and Turismos.
especially those sports bikes, but they're a bitch to track down.:|
