offline mode..how do i do it...can i still do it with steam only version??..

Please let me know because I have halflife 1 that way and I see no offline mode option anywhere.

It lets you enable it if it detects no internet connection.

I emailed Lombardi about it a few weeks back and yes you will be able to play it offline as well as connected to steam.

You make sure that "Don't save information on this computer" isn't ticked in the settings. Then you exit from Steam. Next time you open Steam it'll ask you if you would like to go into Offline mode. I've played Offline games quite a number of times. But I think you have to make sure that you close Steam before you go offline.
