Offline Mode?!?

I can't get cs:source to work in offline mode.
No matter what I do.

I can play if I am online but i have dial up (56k) so I cant really join any servers anyway(500 in latency) :x

and as soon as i try to start cs:s when Im not online then i get this message:

"The game isnt ready to play in offline mode yet" or something like that.

Now WTF!!!!!

What does that mean?? I have checked in the "Remeber my password" box in steam so HL2 runs perfectly offline.

Can anybody help me??

It doesn't sound like its been installed fully.. check its properties in the game menu (right click its name) it should tell you then.. Then update it fully until its usable offline.

It seems like it's updating without the updateing beein visible. It worked for me, but my friend has the same problem, it says 99% not ready, but nothing happends, is the updating procedure invisible?

The changelogs really sucks to...

check your monior. Right click on the steam icon in the system tray and hit monitor. Failing that, load it up in online mode and see if that makes it complete.
