There's a tornado warning for my area flashing on the ****ing TV it's been going on and off for the past 2 hours now.

A TORNADO. IN. MASSACHUSETTS.

HOLY ****ING SHIT HIT THE DICK.

Deck.

.....

GET TO THE ****ING BASEMENT ANYWAY!

Edit: I love you Lefty.

if you actually see a tornado, then you can get excited/scared/tense whatever. tornado warning isn't that big of a deal really.

but then I come from HURRICANE COUNTRY

I think it's warning if one has been spotted and watch if the conditions are right for a tornado.

Also, were you in the triangle for Fran? That was FUN.

there was a tornado warning in New Jersey last month and I was all "HA? Tornado in NJ? Get the **** out of my office".

Then a tree fell on my aunt.

Yeah, I was. We lost power for like 12 days or something, had a bunch of trees down but no real damage to the house. Not the same story for a lot of my neighbors though. The day after Fran was pretty epic, I remember driving around with my dad and it looked like something from a postapocalyptic movie, branches and leaves all over the roads and yards, trees down everywhere, broken houses, ****ed up cars, etc. Pretty cool.

I feel like central NC's due for another major hurricane pretty soon, and I'll be around here for at least the next 3 years till I finish uni.

It's raining pretty hard now.
Wind is kicking up like crazy, and there's thunder like every 3 seconds.

I love storms, just hope a twister doesn't drop on my head. D:

Pretty intense storm for Massachusetts, actually.

Still nothing compared to Florida's Hurricanes.

...Which in turn are nothing compared to New England's snowstorms.

Actually they're about on par with each other. I did see a hurricane level an apartment complex when I lived down there.

Your gay-ass tornado is giving me rain right now. I hate you. My life is terrible! GOD DAMN RAIN!

agreed, quit being a pussy. Nothing is going to happen.

if you suddenly nothing under your feet thats because the tornado sucked you and you are at 300 m in the air

I'm thinking about UNC if I decide to go for my doctorate.

well shit a superstorm just started here.

Its pouring and the thunder has been pretty much continuous for the past 20 minutes.

It was raining hard as hell all day here in Virginia. Thunderstorm.

We needed it. Our well has been having trouble for a couple weeks.

I remember as a kid I wondered how a tornado kills. My mom said it "throws you" and I was like "yeah, so? how do you die?"

Do it. It's pretty much fully-stocked in terms of academic wants, but on top of that Chapel Hill is an awesome town and UNC has the highest population of hot women in the south.

Yeah one of my best friends went to Chapel Hill and loved it. My current shortlist is between a few UNC campuses, a few Penn State campuses, and a couple other schools in PA. It won't be till Fall 09 though, I'm going to graduate from this college first.

Looks like I live to die another day.

# Today: Showers along with a few thunderstorms. A few storms may be severe. High 79F. Winds SSE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

# Tonight: Thunderstorms early, overcast overnight with occasional rain - a rumble of thunder is still possible. A few storms may be severe. Low 67F. Winds SE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

Weather forecast for today.
But, it's beautiful out right now... should I risk going to the beach for a few hours?

Holy hell, yeah the sky's a little dark and it's humid as all hell... but it's bright and sunny out.
Also, last night, my mom who works in Fairhaven said she saw a f*cking funnel cloud that kept sort of rolling and dipping a few blocks away. :O
Thank God it never touched down or anything.

I absolutely hate storms. I'll be honest, they terrify me. I have some weird fear of sudden loud noises.

sucks.

We in the United States stole them.

We get them constantly.

Weather's all clear now. :(
Until Sunday.
