I like Valve! They gave us Half Life, and will give us Half Life 2 .. I think they deserve every buck they get. How the **** can a company survive without money ? All companies need to find ways to make as much money as possible to create new things. Making a game is not free of charge.

VALVe sued VU/Sierra for unauthorised distrubution of some of their titles. VU/Sierra then hit back to try and win rights to the IP. Publishers are the ones that screw over the developer (who normally see little profit) *cough* EA *cough*.
