I was talking to a friend online, he has been really avoiding ANY info on HL2 to avoid spoilers. He told me he has watched the first part of the traptown vid. (Not the headcrab part).

so, I was talking to him, and mentioned my theory on the meaning of lambda and gordon being the balancer between xen and earth in HL1, and the combine and the earth in HL2.

and he got pissed.

he didn't know what the combine were. I spoiled that much for him. I can't tell him that it is nothing, because you meet them in the first 5 seconds of the game, because THAT would be a spoiler....

soo...I feel bad now. He's worked so hard to avoid any info on HL2, and I just spoiled that much for him.

I've got to admit, it's impressive, and I envy him. The boxart will be a spoiler for him.

I doubt VERY much he knows who Alyx is....I mean, the ONLY info he has on HL2 is from the first half of the traptown vid. (The non-commentary version) soooo....if it wasn't in that, he doesn't know it.
