Okay, so I walk into a store, EB Games, to check out some old games. Yeah, I like to see what’s new in bin section (sounds so strange), and guess what I find? Yeah, Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 for PC! I went ape shit there, both for $10. I couldn’t believe how lucky I was. I played FF7 back in the days, on PS 1, but never did I try FF8. Tell you what, I love both games, playing it right now. I am sucker for a love story, and FF8 definitely is a love story, so I am having great time.

So, any of you jealous yet?

I walked into a store somewhere in the world and went to the "free items" section. I checked a strange looking crate that had Black Mesa logo on it, and found hundreds of Half-Life 2 DVD-boxes. I took one and went back home to install the game...Then I woke up!

Well, not every store has these games... actually this is a first time I seen FF7/8 on sale for PC. So your friend got lucky too Both are great games, that take about 40 hours to finish, if you don't rush like mad, or even more. Now I have urge to get PS2, so I can play FFX, FFX-2 and FF 13, whenever that one comes out.

i am a final fantesy g33k and i have completed 6,7,8,9 and 10 at least 2 or more times each on the PS1. i really want a PC version but i havent seen any in the shops here in the uk... ever. so yes, i would like a copy.

errr... where do you live, how can i get there and is there any specific time in the day when everyone is out the house and FF7 and 8 are left unnatended?

I went to EB 2 weeks ago and got Tribes 2 for $9.99 (I already have a copy, but you can never have to many cd keys!) and then I traded in BF:V and Simcity 4 because I hate EA, and im boycotting them from now on..l./../,';

I had FF7 about 4 or 5 years ago on the PC, i still have it actually, its a great game. I got it for like 40 dollars i think though, so not as much of a deal as you guys.

I wouldn't worry about that slicktick, there is no way in hell Advent Children won't eventually be released here. All the FF games since 7 have been huge sellers here, I'm sure Square realizes the AC movie would sell just as much, if not more than most of the games what with all of the FF7 fanatics

The PC version is terrible. The background's are literally damaging to the eyes, their native resolution is like 3x2 pixels. You'll eyes will be bleeding before the first fight.


Oh, and my bestbuy has FF7 for $10 new, in the real box. So finding it used is really nothing to brag about.

Actually, I could care less about graphics… I didn’t go OMFG over FarCry graphics, like many people did here. I can play old games without problems. And yes, it is actually hard to find these games on PC, so it is a good thing to brag about.

I can see easily why people prefer FF7 over FF8, battle system is better, plus FF8 has an angst teenager as a main character, but it doesn’t really irritate me so much. Plus storyline in FF7 is better, I guess.

I really liked FF8 up until my save-game crapped out near the end. Guardian forces = so awesome.

The beginning of FF7 was so effing crappy, I didn't bother with the rest of the game.

cool others agree with me on ff8. I really liked it alot. People say Squall was a horrible character but I thought he was cool. Also I just liked the whole storyline better than FF7s. I won't get into details on it. Oh yeah and also it has some of the best final boss music EVER.

I thought all the music was pretty great.

My favorite one was probably what played during the assassination attempt mission at the end of the first CD.
