Oh The Irony!

Not ironic at all.
Also, why buy clothes from walmart? I've never been, but I presume it's all cheap and crap.

Get some style. I seriously believe, dressing well will improve many area's of your life on it's own. People treat you better, girls give you more attention, you feel better about yourself. Why not?

If I had to wear clothes from wal-mart, I wouldn't tell a soul.

Next thing you know, Dog will be wearing dragonshirts

The more pockets you have the cooler you are.

Fact.

It is cheap and crap, but to be honest, I wore the jeans today (first time ever wearing jeans! D: ) and nothing changed. I was actually surprised no one even noticed I wasn't wearing cargos, as they are all I've ever worn. I think the ones I bought (dark blue jeans) look good with all the other stuff I wore: black t-shirt, dark blue jeans (that fit, not baggy retard jeans), and some beige running shoes with white trim. Made me actually feel a bit better as I wasn't wearing old shitty clothes but new good ones. But yea, like I said - nothing was different with me wearing new shoes/shirts/jeans today.

Also - You can't tell the different between my clothes and clothes people payed 3 times as much for, because when you pay 80$ for a pair of shoes, you're paying for a label, and you're also retarded. I bought my old shoes for $20 at wal-mart and they lasted me about 3 years. If I told people I payed $60 for my old shoes, I guarantee they couldn't prove me wrong, and would probably believe me. Bought all my shirts about 4 years ago for $10 a piece and they are all perfect except for being a little bit faded (they are plain colours anyways). Just because it's cheap sweatshop clothes doesn't mean there is never anything good..

EXTREME CARGO PANTS

Ugh, those are some hideous cargo pants.

I like military style cargo pants. Not the huge ****ing eyesore those things are.

Like these... color doesn't matter.

Cargo pants go real well with street shoes.

jesus... try getting some proper clothes from something other than walmart or soviet outlets.. it's good to mix vintage or get cool unique second-hand stuff, but wearing the same crappy clothes for that long is just terrible. good to hear you got some jeans, cargo pants are a ****ing eyesore

80$ for shoes is a good price, and you're paying for a lifestyle. it sounds retarded as ****, but it's not, and it's neither about adhering to some shallow mainstream thing. you can do whatever you want with culture/indie/street clothing, and people are going to be much more interested in you and your ideas if you take good care of yourself.
you have ****ing cheap great clothes in the US compared to where i'm at, so you should have no problem :)

Right, because shoes of $20 dollars are the epitome of style and quality, any price higher than that is just throwing money away..

$80 is not even a high price, but a perfectly normal one for a pair of good looking shoes that fit well and are of a good material.

Not all expensive brands are good, but to dismiss them all is ignorant. I have very good experience with Levi's, and I always buy jeans of Levi's which are usually around 90 eurobucks. They're simply quality. You recognize shitty quality pants by their zippers, which are always rubbish and pop open all the time.

I also have an old Levi's wintercoat, and by old I mean one that looks absolutely brand new. It's at least 5 years old, but you couldn't tell.

On the other hand, I've paid 150 for Lacoste shoes which were bust in less than a month. The same for some expensive Nudie jeans which shrunk by ridiculous amounts.

As for shirts, all my t-shirts are plain color but I definitely notice a difference between my 8 eurobucks shirts that I wear underneath stuff, and the more expensive 15ish eurobuck t-shirts which are clearly made of much better material. The former has a habit of tearing. Good button-down shirts are 35-50 eurobucks, anything cheaper than that is either very thin cotton or cheap synthetic shit (ever wear synthetics on a hot day?).

Ok, so if I wear the clothes long enough for them to be vintage, I'm lame, but when I buy second hand old clothes, I'm cool? What? People are too strung out on what everyone else looks like, if someone doesn't want to be associated with me because I wear cargos, then I couldn't care less if they got hit by a bus, tbh. Obviously if the person has like a million holes in their pants, all their clothes has stains and shit like that, it's different, but all my clothes were well taken care of, no holes, no loose threads, nice and clean, just a little bit faded, and after 3 years.

I seriously (I'm not just saying this) think that the clothes I bought, shoes and all, look as good/better (on me) then any other clothes people bought. I wish I had a camera, I'd take a picture of myself in my new shoes/pants and show you how absolutely fine they look, they look like brand name clothes (actually, I don't know about my shoes, but my jeans are a big name like Levi's or something, Payed only $17 for each of them and $20 for the shoes). I also don't really care about new clothes at this point and time because at school 3/4 of my classes are tech classes (meaning sawdust/grease/etc all over me), so I'm not about to go out and spend $100 on shoes for them to get ****ed up. Even after school is done, I still wouldn't though. Cheap stuff works fine/as good as brand names, and when I can save alot of money (I don't make alot in the first place), and get the same quality clothes, why spend more to make other people happy with my appearance?

I'd actually like to know if any of you make your own money to buy clothes, as I know there are alot of 15-18 year olds still living at home (It's not a bad thing, and I'm not insulting anyone), most of them would probably get their parents to spend the money. Like I said - I don't make alot, and ever since I got a job I have to pay for everything (even food) for myself. Everything except bills/rent, so I'm not about to go and blow an entire paycheck on a pair of shoes, when I can get a good looking pair that are functional for $20.

Cargo pants are lame, and if this is your first time wearing jeans, you're a big knobface. Case closed.

Also, I wouldn't call it irony, it's dumb luck that you happened to be purchasing pants on the same day you decided to buy some. Irony would be something like you really don't want to spend money on new pants, but you finally convince yourself to buy them, so you do. Then you go home and find a big shipping truck has just crashed across the street from your house, and a huge cardboard box full of lame cargo pants that you love sailed from the accident right on to your front doorstep without anyone noticing. That, my cargo-wearing fellow, is irony.

It's also a better story, you should pay me to write your life.

I thought they could fit a couple more pockets on them. I still see blank spaces. The guy wearing them looks like he is enjoying them.

I like those kinds of pants because I can put my cell phone, wallet, glasses wiping cloth, coins, and Mark IV Thermonuclear device in all different pockets.

The only bad part about that is when you think you are answering your phone, but mistakenly detonate the nuke, making all of your other items no longer necessary.

Basically, what is in which pocket? The more pockets you have, the harder it is to find what you are looking for, and you end up looking ridiculous as you pat yourself up and down like a police search.

What's that? Um... that's my nuts.

I have predecided pockets for all my objects. If i sometimes misplace one in a different pocket, Im lost.

There should be a thread about the contents of your pockets.

Maybe i should make one.

Or maybe i should put it in dogs stupid thread thread.

Meditate on this, i shall.

I only ever wear jeans and cargo pants because they're comfortable no matter where I am.
Hell, I wore jeans to bed once.
