Oil Storm is showing tomorrow on FX, its an FX original movie. I hope that it will be an accurate protrayal of what not only Americans, but the whole world round, will be facing if we don't shape up.

it was clearly poorly made and low budget and some of the things seemed a little too over-the-top and melodramatic, but it raises some good points about our dependance on oil

That was pretty interesting, I watched the whole thing last night. The special effects SUCKED. Some things that happened, like the Oil Czar were just ridiculous (it could happen, but we won't call him a ****ing czar), or the "RPG" attack. I doubt we will be saved by finding more sources of oil though, and it was pretty dumb for FX to not show that.

When is the encore? I actually like most of FX's originals...yes they are low budget but have great plots and ideas.
