i'm sorry, but I see this fanboy trash spreading through the forum like a disease. Halo 2, half-life 2, and doom 3. they all have their positives and negatives.
all of them are great games, and I wish everyone would stop saying otherwise. halo 2 forums will trash doom 3 and half-life 2, half-life 2 forums trash halo 2 and doom 3, and doom 3 forums trash half-life 2 and halo 2! it's sickening! And I also hear people trashing gamespot and calling them "console-kiddies" for not giving gamespot a perfect score. The fact is, the game is not perfect. There are flaws with it, stop trying to deny this fact. It is still a good game and you guys will get your money's worth

I don't think anyone is denying that HL2 will have flaws. I think they are red flagging the fact that Gamespot said a very flawed and dated game like GTA: San Andreas (9.6) is better than other games like Halo 2 (9.4) and Half Life 2 (9.2). I think the inconsistency with the Gamespot website is evident.

To be fair, 9.6 sounds about right for San Andreas. It's an excellent game and is totally different to Half-Life 2. Stop comparing them. All of you!
