Okay, who released my beta map?

I'm not angry about this - at least it was released specifically as a *beta* on FilePlanet, but you REALLY, REALLY need to ask before doing stuff like this. :rolling:

You've started 4 threads about your map - not including this one. You can't really be surprised that it's out there.

It's my impression that files end up posted at File Planet (and in File Planet's mappacks) quite independently of the actions of members of the community.

In other words - I don't think anyone here took it upon themselves to publish your map on your behalf.

Still, it seems strange that a beta would end up on FP, considering how tedious the process of getting a file on there is, unless you're the staff. ...In which case, the staff would have to revise their methods of releasing other people's unfinished maps. :S

But I have to say, I'm happy to see it online in the form of a beta, at least.

I dont understand what you mean - once you release something of any interest on the net, in any way, it will generally spread like wildfire.

All I ever did was post a teeny-tiny beta test in a thread. I never even released the map as an "open beta." I just said, "Hey, does anyone wanna test with me tomorrow night?"
