Old games your playing?

I am re-playing the Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 MSX Versions that came as bonus with Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistance.
Very good games, pure 8 bits goodness!

We should totally get like, everyone we can on Skype or some other freehands talker, and have everyone play through the game, sort of like a race but all in good fun, just so we can share experiences and have a great time :D
heh we definitely need more skype sessions this summer, i get out of touch with all the halflife2.netters over school year :(

I found earthworm jim lying around the other day. DAMN I suck at it.

Just finished Full throttle. Now playing Discworld Noir.
I miss old adventure game's days :(
I bought the 2gb memory stick for the PSP and just last week played Full Throttle on the homebrew port of ScummVM. "Bunnies ... and lots of 'em."

Also playing on PSP: Quake 1 (in small doses!) and whatever NES game I feel like playing.

Is it "What old games do you play?" or "What old games are you playing?"?

I play lots of old games, I didn't game for a long time and have a lot of standard repetroire (sp?) to catch up on. Epic Pinball's always fun, as are the Monkey Island games. I have Duke3d Plutonium Pak somewhere... Every Zork game ever made... Minesweeper... SiN...

I'm currently playing through KotOR, and just bought KotOR2. I beat Max Payne 1, and started 2, but haven't played it in long enough that I'll probably start it again from the top sometime.

I agree fullheartedly with whoever likes the Incredible Machine.

C&C:Red Alert 2:Yuri's revenge
Half Life 1
Quake 2
Unreal Tournament 1
NFS II
Blood 1
NOLF 1

That's all I can think of right now

Is Snakes Revenge the American one where Big Boss is a robot or something like that?

Hey I liked both games equally. Though the film noir narrative was starting to get a little ridiculous by the end, I'll admit.

Everyone who mentioned the original X-Com gets a free pat on the back from me.

As for me? I'm still reminiscing of the days of Turrican 2, Populous 2, and Alien Breed.

True gaming greats.

Quake II is about it right now... an influx of new games has made me drop all the old ones.

I just busted out X-COM Apocalypse after all this talk about old games.

Too bad there hasent been a decent sequal/remake and I know of the "spiritual sucessors."

No. That's a lie.

Planescape
Fallout
Fallout 2
Arcanum
Half-Life

Not exactly old but Warcraft 3 (ONOZ HELLSCREAM!!1)

Cannon Fodder.

Damn you old school realism. Its like an old Operation Flashpoint o_O

Half life
well duh-Tomb raider 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and soon 8
Earth worm jim
Sonic
metal gear solid 1 and 2

shenmue 1 & 2. (best games ever)
trespasser (could've been the best game ever)

well, Jagged Alliance 2, in one form or another, has earned a permanent place on my hard drive for it's sheer greatness (currently replaying the original campagain on Expert.) (Whilst I have never played the X-COM games, I declare JA2 the best squad based, turn-based tactical game ever!)

Also floating around is MIA, The Settlers 3, Dungeon Keeper 2 and the ever popular Operation Wolf and a number of mega drive games for my emulator.

Alpha centauri

Turok 1+2

Settlers 3

Age of mythology

Homeworld

Starlancer

Well, I've been playing a lot of old games recently, but the very latest games would be:
StarCraft
CnC games
Warcraft 3
MAME games (DoDonPachi and Progear)
Discworld

Also, I bought Diablo 2 + expantion yesterday.

Discworld Noir? Discworld 1 and 2? Discworld MUD? What Discworld are you playing, Murray? What Discworld are you playing?

Only old game I played recently is Planescape: Torment. Which rocked.

Playing FarCry right now. After that im going to beat Deus Ex 2 again.

Managed to score a copy of Turok 64 for my... N64! :D

Been playing that like crazy.

Speaking of N64, i'm playing Rogue Squadron on mine.

Haha, oh man good memories. One of the hidden levels was the Death Star Trench...but it ran around corners and was absolutely huge. It could not have been further from the movie version or the kickass Rogue Leader version. Still, it was fun :D

Silent Hill
Silent Hill 2
Resident Evil 3

And may I mention how underrated I find Resident Evil 3 to be when we look at the whole series. And further, yes....I've gone through a lot of underwear this week. My living room is quite funky......DAMN YOU PYRAMID HEAD!!!!!!!!! And, to a lesser extent.....DAMN YOU NEMESIS!!!!!!!!!
