Old people and cars.

Wtf is up with old people and cars lately? Aside from the fact that they are terrible drivers they have been making the news a lot lately. Anybody see at least 3 reports this week? Its always an old woman smashing through a building because she thought she pressed the brake but it really was the gas. :| It's really starting to piss me off why the Department of Transportation is'nt doing anything about this. :frown:

you're focussing on old people and cars? Try skimming the news for teenagers in cars wrapped around a tree, that should top older people.

But I get what you mean, my annoyance with them is not so much on the road but in the supermarket lol, they tend to block the isles and always try to cut in line because they think they have the right to. Go shop on weekdays and not when I'm shopping dammit /endrant

Yeah there's been a couple of accidents near me that were caused by old people hitting the accel instead of the brake ... my neighbours garage was ploughed through not so long ago... I think they shouldn't be allowed on the road. They can't even control their bladders, yet they're trying to control 2 tonnes of nissan micra with the potential of killing a lot of people.

Old people on mobility scooters are usually MUCH worse though. I've driven past a fair few at night, old people driving mobility scooters on the road with no lights on at all... I can't believe how lethal they are. I'm not talking about 30mph roads either.

A) Stop
B) Honk at them
c) Keeping driving

What does "absolutely nothing" mean? Stopping or keep driving?

It means nothing. Like to kind of zone out. Foot off the gas and kind of coast.

He zoned out. Even slowed down as we were behind the car comming at the side of the car. But its ok..."It was not my car"~Ikerous.

I hear the Motorcycle class is hard. Everyone has to drive in a figure 8 for about 5 min. Can you imagine 7 or 8 people all following the same figure 8...Gosh sounds scary.

This one time, my foot got briefly caught under the brake as I was switching over from the accelerator. I still can't understand how it happened to this day. I blame quantum tunneling.

You know.. the one where they try to take away old peoples licenses, so in response the old people get up really early and take the town of South Park by force?

I hate it when your going about 65 and then all of a sudden there is a line of cars going 50-55. Then you go in the next lane and pass about 3 cars and you find out there is an old couple together in the front. :hmph: And it always makes me wonder why don't the cars in back of that car pass up the people too. Its like they want to go on a Sunday drive in rush hour and its really dangerous and scary. Old people should be liquified for food (I forget where that line came from but it was some movie).
