Old thread digging...

I was just wondering if you guys had some feature of deleting old threads from the past 20 days (e.t.c) days like other Vbulletins. That could really stop people from digging up old threads.

Just my two cents.

Having old threads is great, especially in the HL2 Rumors & Speulation section. There we can get an archive of real handy info.

what WOULD be a good idea. Is automatic locking of threads that haven't been posted in for over two weeks. Then people can't drag up old threads.

Or we could just ban anyone who dug up an old thread, I'm cool with either idea's

But i'd say lock after 1 month ... sometimes a 2 week old thread can still reasonably be resurrected IMO

Maybe 3 weeks since the last post would be a good time to close them. Then after 2 more weeks you could delete them (unless they have really good info of course).

Actually that's a good idea. I've seen many forums who do that - make an archive board for older threads.
