Oldboy - Wow!

Anyone seen this? I watched it yesterday and all I can saw is Wow.

If you haven't see it, its basically a Korean movie about an average man who is kidnapped and imprisoned in a hotel room for 15 years without explanation. He then is released, equipped with money, a cellphone and expensive clothes. As he strives to explain his imprisonment and get his revenge, he soon finds out that not only his kidnapper has still plans for him, but that those plans will serve as the even worse finale to 15 years of imprisonment.

The soundtrack was awesome and I still can't get my head around the ending, wow....

I watched it a few weeks ago. I loved it. The camera work and direction were superb, and the acting was pretty much spot on as well. The ending isn't that difficult to get your head around, it's not a typical Korean head**** movie.

Yeah, it's a bit odd though. If you like japanesey type films then it's worth a watch.

I love OldBoy so much, it's amazing. They're releasing a North American dvd in a month or two (but I know it's easy to get your hands on a pirated copy with original Korean box art). I think I heard rumours that Nicolas Cage is playing the lead in the American version. I'm expecting the worse...
And I have the soundtrack, it's amazing

Old Boy is fantastic, the corridor fight scene is damn brutal. As to whoever mentioned Ichi the Killer - have you seen the original anime? It's worse than the film, which is quite hard to accomplish.

No I haven't seen the original anime... I only watched this one after hearing about the "ear drum scene"...

The movie left me feeling a bit odd TBH.

Oldboy is one of my faves, I was so not expecting the ending. great graphics, music, acting, direction, concept. Genius.
