I just bought Soldier Of Fortune 2 Gold Edition (DISMEMBERMENTS YAY) and Emergency 2. The latter has retarded AI, but I'm a sucker for emergency scenarios tbh :p In total it cost me 8 euros (around 12 bucks, lawl currency rate).

Any games you recently got from the discount bin?
 
I recently got C&C: Tiberium sun and Thief2 for ?5 :D.

Thief2 doesn't work on my 8800 though :|
 
Theme hospital. I had it downloaded anyway, but I loved it so much that we bought it. Winner.
 
Worms Armageddon and Worms 2 in one box for ?5...LAN bargain of the century, havent laughed so much with mates over a game like this one.

Got BF2142 for 17quid. Not exactly 'discount bin' but its half the release-price.

Worms is amazing but they ruined it with 3D tbh.
 
I just got the special edition of FF XII and The Getaway for PS2 for like $15.
 
I might get Max Payne for like 2 quid just to try.
Has anyone got? And is it good?
 
I got project snowblind for 9,99 $ if it wasn't crashing every 15 minutes it could be good.
 
Not discount bin (this is it's full price, too), but I bought Battlefield the Complete Collection for $10. Comes with 1942 + both expansions, Vietnam, and the WWII mod for Vietnam. Pretty good deal, imo.
 
Most recently, Age of Empires Gold Edition (AOE 1+2 and expansions). Actually a gift for someone else, but of course I took a copy first. :p

Also grabbed Curse of Monkey Island and Jedi Knight (Dark Forces 2) from the Lucasarts Classic collection. Was slightly dissapointed to find that they hadn't been updated from the original versions in the slightest, despite having "XP compatible" right there on the box, so I had to fix them up with third party programs just to get them working...

Oh, Operation Flashpoint aswell, but I have no christing idea how to play that and I hate reading .PDF manuals.

I should have a copy of Psychonauts in the post right now, cost me about ?7 or so. I've been ignoring the good press it has been getting, but found myself wanting to play something or rather on the cheap, so it fit the bill. Plus the Zero Punctuation review told me off.
 
Oldest and best Bargin Bin game I ever got was probably Deus Ex, for $10.

I already have a copy of Psychonauts, but when I recently saw it in a bargain bin, I brought it up to the top and leaned it against the pole in the middle, hoping it would catch someone's eye.

I picked up a $5 copy of American McGee's Scrapland not too long ago.
 
I just got Psychonauts at this Liquidation place for a fiver CAD. Quite the game I must say; well worth the money (if not more). In fact, I bought a second copy to sell to people I know would appreciate it. In the past I've bought many a cheap bargain bin game, such as Deus Ex, Mafia and GTA 3 among others. Heh, gotta love how many of my favorite games were bought for under $10.
 
I should've bought that bargin bin Psychonauts PS2 to give to a friend... :/
 
Last 'oldie' I got was a while back.

KOTOR1+2, and close to a month ago I got Medal of Honor Pacific Assault... which is about HL2's age.
Best MoH game I have ever played, worst MP I've ever played though.

The single player is awesome it feels just like a war movie.
 
Swat 4 expansion pack for like 7 bucks. Me and one of my friends have been playing swat 4 recently so that got me to buy the expansion.

Yes that's a very good deal. I bought it for $39.99 when it came out. Plus it's a great game, I've beat it like 4 times. Just make sure you play the first one sometime (they have a little recap of the first max payne in the menu of Max Payne 2 so you can catch up to the story)

Agreed..even to this day Deus Ex is one of my favorite games ever. And to get it for under $10 is a steal.

I got a great deal a little while ago.

Even though Virgin Megastore is a total rip off, I went in to check for new stuff. I found ES III (Morrowind) for a fiver. Considering the size of that game, thats pretty damn good.
 
Complete Dawn of War edition (now waiting for the Soulstorm expansion in 2008) for... I don't know, 25 Euro?
 
I tend to play cheap games less regardless of how good they are. If I spend full price on a game, my mind says "You must get the most out of this game, regardless of quality," whereas if I buy it cheap, I phase out if it doesn't keep my attention.

See if you can snatch the Gold Edition. Ten times cheaper probably with thrice the gameplay :D
 
So today, I was strolling through Staples to buy some ink cartridges for my printer and some paper.

When I stumble across a small carriage full of games, lots of quality stuff like Tribes Vengeance, Sid Meier's Pirates, Medieval Total War, Age of Empires 2, and a few others.
But one that actually made me giddy was...

PSYCHONAUTS!... Yes, I finally bought the game... and it was only $10.

Just checked the box.

Its got gold on it, and under the title it says: "Game of the year edition". It also says: "Includes full versions of Bloodmoon and Tribunal".

Last really cheap games I bought were a couple of years ago. Got Destruction Derby 2 and Nuclear Strike (loved this game) for ?2 each from Staples. Shame they won't work since they're so old so I've never even played them. I got Destruction Derby aswell for like a quid. :D

I also got Project Nomads for ?5. I doubt many people know what it is. It was a strange game but I found it fun.
 
Destruction Derby is the most awesome series EVER.

Used to be so pwnage at DD2. I need to find it again.
