Omfg!! Hl2 Delay Confirmed!!!

i just talked to my friends uncle who works at one of the main distributors that Valve will use for hl2. he said that they would have had to gotten them the masters by Friday for them to make the 30th date. he hasn't heard any info about a delivery from them soon, so in all likely hood it's going to be mid-november before we see HL2. what are we going to do?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Sounds like one of those. My sisters friends aunt who know's this guy who went out with this heacrab and his brothers uncle's friend who heard from a guy... and so on and so on.

There's just so many wrong things with that logic...

For one, never trusts a friend's uncle. Not even your own.
Second, what company does your friend's uncle work for?
Third, I hardly think that not hearing anything will mean a delay, let alone a month and a half one.
Fourth, you're probably lying and this post was worthless.

These so called 'Delay' threads will now longer be tolerated at all. As from now, intentionally making one will result in a ban, unless you have substantial evidence (and no, I don't mean something like a games shop or site changing their dates).

Seriously, unless you have physical proof, we could care less. The game might end up being delayed, but I'd hardly call this supposed conversation proof of anything.

Man im gonna laugh my ass off when it comes out on the 30th just stfu its not delayed intil Valve says it is.

Obviously not cause theres ten posted a day and noones doin a damn thing about it. Theres like maybe 1 out of every 5 that actually get locked.
 
You know something. The quietness of Valve is because it's probably not delayed.

My guess in this point in time is it will be delayed at retailers by a week and released on Steam on time.

Gabe would apologise for false information and give a reason and we will forgive him. :)

I think he's telling the truth, i mean his source is obviously very reliable, and of course Gabe isn't gonna know if it's delayed or not. And besides here's yet MORE evidence that HL2, is infact delayed:

Well the only thing telling me its bogus is the fact that he hasn't replied yet to any of the comments made in this thread. If he really cared to get the word out and make people believe it then he'd be on here arguing and trying to convince us more. Mods, please?

Several people who claim to work for retailers, inc one trusted source have said that the date is mid-November. As much as I want Sept 30th I have a feeling it will be delayed.

However making threads like this isn't helping anyone, plus there's a great big sticky at the top of the board you may want to read.
