It's for Axis & Allies game from ATARI.

I signed up and I got in! I was waiting for about a month, they accept people every once in awhile.

This is so cool! I've never been into a sign-up beta before...

Plus the game looks awesome, my friends are big fans of the board game.

the only beta i've ever been able to get into was the cs:1.6 beta :(

i r teh pathetic

I've been in Planetside and Star Wars Galaxies beta's.

I have been in a bunch, which makes me way leeter than all of you :)

The only game I have been beta-testing is EVE. :)

Playboy Mansion and Singles: Flirt Up Your Life don't count :E

Well congratulations SubKamran. Do your job and flood their arses with bug reports. :)

I'm not sure you're allowed to tell anyone that you're in a beta... I know I aren't :)

Yeah, speaking from experience in beta testing, a lot of NDAs specify that you aren't supposed to tell people what game you're testing.

Well if the ATARI admins browse these remote reaches of the HL2 forums, they can shoot me. ;)

BTW, Axis & Allies = http://pc.ign.com/objects/567/567318.html?ui=gamefinder

EDIT: I re-read the NDA, it doesn't say I can't tell people ;) Just can't tell you any "Confidential Information"

they don't shoot you... only your relatives and those close to you.

They will castrate you using hedge trimmers though. It's all written down in that 5-page contract you clicked 'I agree' to.

Bet you wish you'd read it now, huh.

Nope, doesn't say I can't tell the world ;) I re-read it.

I get paid to be in them. I think i win. :)

Most NDA's will allow you to say that you're beta testing the game IF it is announced, axis and allies most certainly is.

You just can't post things like screenshots and spoiler information.

Allies win, Axis lose, shit sorry

If only I could say what BETA I was in right now, you'd all be worshipping at my feet... but I can't, so... meh.

just give us a hint, if we do guess it you can always deny it :p

I can't do that... Going by the EULA/NDA I can't do a thing... infact i'm probably breaking it by saying i'm in a beta... oh well.

I had the same Problem with IGI2, infact the NDA is still in place so i cant disclose anything from the alpha/beta versions we tested.

Some NDA's are leniant tho, they will allow you to post some screen but not ones that haven't been saw.

I've been in the SWG beta, the first steam beta (which also got me into dod 0. something beta and the beta for cs 1.3).

I'm in the same boat in that I can't comment on two of the beta's I was in. Good thing for the company of one of them... :p

Lineage II beta test was the only beta i got into. Was quite fun for awhile... Then everyone found the flaws in the game when compared to similar RPGS (stupid grinding system and experience in a group + long down time!!)

I got to beta test Final Fantasy 11 online of 3 months on the PC. That was fun, But i havent played it since it came out. It takes up too much of my time.

I've been in more beta tests than I can even remember. I didn't make it into Everquest 2, but I'm currently testing four games (possibly five soon) even without it. Two of them are... meh. One is good, but not very well known. The other one is popular, but still quite a bit buggy.

I'll also be signing up to test Tabula Rasa, Pirates of the Burning Sea, and Middle-Earth Online as soon as they allow it.
