OMG Silver or CE?

I want DoD:S horribly bad but having to download everything off Steam will suck...that DvD will sure come in handy.



I guess it all depends on if DoD:S will be cheap to non-steam buyers.

It also sucks that people will be paying for a game they know nothing about (well we know its going to be like DoD)

but I do hope they release some teaser screenshots before it is made availible to buy so I can work out whether to cancel my preorder or not.

Yeah, but it would still be a pain in the arse to install off 6 CDs for people who don't have a DvR.

Nonsensical. The non-DVD retail version comes on 6 CDs.

Just get a DVD burner. A single dvd can hold everything on it, no problem.

At the moment the only was to get DOD:s is by buying Gold/Silver.

But, I'm pretty sure all the steam products and ports will come available later to buy separately over steam.

If there's a market for it... they're going to provide.

You will have to buy the Silver/Gold steam versions or it might be possible to buy it as a mod seperatly or as a whole package seperately. You won't however be able to get it for free.

I'll wait see the prices. It's highly likely ill go for the normal bronze package i think it is, just hl2 and CS:S. Thats all i ever wanted, im not greedy, id be thankful for that. These other mods are nice, but dod:s and hl:S i never really wanted anyway. Nice ideas, but i wouldnt pay for them. Yeah so i cant vote in the poll. But still cmon i want prices! (in £'s)
