It's also never too early to start restarting Steam. Sometimes Valve's releases come out a little early.

Nothing, it just when Valve has big updates or releases, Steam tends to take a long time to log on, because of all the people world wide trying to get the same update, thus the servers are getting RAPED!!!

Unless.. someone can tell me in under 5 minutes whether or not I can just keep my steam up and running and be notified while it's running...
