You may not be able to enjoy his company anymore, BUT, he's either A) In heaven now, or B) Just dead, and his soul is just existing till the end of all eternity.

Either way, he no longer has to deal with the idiots, politicians, liars, of the world, nor does he have to put up with all the hatred, vile forms or art (cough shitty music and tv), or betrayal that living people have to endure.

He doesn't have to feel loved, love others, nor does he have to actually work towards anything anymore. His body can rest now. He can just "exist", which, tbh, is what most people just want to do.
