So what do you think makes a great game? You've already told us of 2D graphics, energy cannons, platform jumping, and seeing women in revealing outfits. I can't say I disagree about the latter. :D
 
i know isnt it? and hl2's textures suck too. wtf is with cs:s being the only mp component. valve sucks and hl2 sucks even more.

I could always beat the Metroid on NES to get bikini Samus. People were shocked to find out Samus was a chick. :eek:

Wow, talk about a nostalgia trip. Games have come a long way. In those days the gameplay was what determined whether or not the game was good or not. Today, graphics are the main attraction. Valve is trying to combine (pun?) both, and I think they may have pulled it off.
 
Yeah. And I realy don't know who MrMetroid thinks he's fooling. He obviously made some different accounts to carry on a conversation, to fuel the fire. He just craves attention. So we should all just ignore him.
Now, back to the review:
I can't believe it got a 98%. That's incredible. I can't wait for VUG to release the goddamn game now!

Of course he could just argue that the gaming websites didn't know what they were doing back then, or that magazines overrate games.

It's all good though. I have a feeling he'll be playing Half-Life 2 a lot, despite what he says.
 
lol i like the metroid guy, he's hilarious. I of course don't believe him, but that doesn't matter, his posts still make me literally laugh out loud. I like him.
