I bought the retail version, and it didnt work in my DVD drive...cos the retail version is shit. Lots of people had this problem and theres no solution. I sold my copy and bought it on steam, like EVERYONE here told me to do, im sorry for not listening Steam is the way to go man, retail aint worth the hassle.

i have read loads of posts about how pissed off ppl with retail copies are. i still dont get how it works.

i want to buy it from a shop which means i need the game 35 squid and a dvd rom drive 30 squid. from what i have heard when i put the game in i have to go online and register it and download the rest of the game. then play

or

i get me dads credit card and buy from steam. set up an account and then buy it online download it 2 hours (dont no the apporx time) then play.

but

what if i buy online then a year or so i uninstall it for more room on my computer (for school or more important things i know ppl will argue that nothing is as important) and then i want to install it but steam have gone or what ever so i paid 35 squid to rent a game. can u download the game from steam again and again

and if i buy it from the shop i cant always play it for ever and ever aslong as i download the rest of the game

am i right? and which one shall i do?
