sweet models. Though the solid stock on the M249 looks a little screwy. any chance we could get a render of just that model? Otherwise definately Hella Pro.

Yea, it appears a little off, but it won't be seen much in game, so I don't think it matters all too much. I will bring it up with the modeller though.

The bullets are far to small, remember, they're 5.56mm in diameter, and that has to be proportinal to the rest of the gun. otherwise, looks great!

Have you ever seen or used a 5.56mm round? It is surprisingly small.

*cough* used the C9 *cough*

Yes, I have seen and touced 5.56mm rounds. I have also held a M249 SAW.

but, jsut lookign at these pictures...

Actually, the bullets might be the right size, but they shouldn't bend that way...

The way they 'bend' depends on how many rounds are actually out of the box. As you can probably see, there are more rounds out of the box on the renders than what is seen in the photos.

Also in the 2nd photo, that is a smaller version of the Minimi and would obviously distort the way you would see the appearance of the rounds.

I spent the entire summer last year handling 5.56mm rounds and weapons and more (C7A1, C9, C6, Carl Gustav 84mm, M67 Grenades). I would be this summer if there wasn't an administrative f*ck up... but now I am just going off topic, sorry.

There are more coming, so watch this thread for updates!
