Opinions wanted: Guitar Hero II on 360

So, GH has always piqued my attention which is suprisingly because I'm not really into 'those' (DDR, SingStar, etc) types of games but GH just seems awesome.

I'm thinking of getting GH II (If I can find it here in Aus, it was suppose to be released in Nov but I've never stumbled upon it in EB or anywhere) for 360 but I have some questions:

- Is it even out for 360 yet ?! I just read a preview on TeamXbox and it's dated Nov 14 and they speak as if it isn't out so I assume it isn't
- If you want a second guitar I assume you buy it separately ? Is it cheaper than the 'package' of the game/guitar or do people just buy 2 copies of the game/guitar ?
- Does it get 'repetitive' ? I'm no stranger to repetitiveness (I mean, I play the same damn maps in the same damn games for hours in MP :O) but I was just wandering if it was one of those "Hey, that's rad, I'll get it !" - few days later - "Okay, it was fun but I'll go bury it in my closet" things (Aka, 'gimmick')
- I haven't found any details on 360 specific features like use with Live (MP, etc). Is anything known or is it still secret ?

Anyway, I could probably get someone else to pay for it and I think it'd be good to keep around for just whatever like if I have friends over or something, it's seems as one of those things which anyone can get into and have a lot of fun.

So far reports are that they won't be making the guitar for GH2 on Xbox360 wireless due to it being proprietary technology... That sorta sucks, but perhaps Microsoft could make the guitar or something so that it would be wireless.

The only reason I haven't bought GH2 is because of the upcoming X360 release of it...

Nobody is really sure on what's going to be different yet...

is GH1 out on 360? If not, and if you have a PS2, I'd suggest getting GH1 and 2 for PS2 and just playing it on that. You'll get 2 guitars then too.

No GH is out for 360 right now. ..but I'm confsued. They can't make a wireless guitar for the 360 due to propritery technology, or is it any system?

Red Octane released the official wireless GH controller..which I use currently, and it kicks ass...but yeah, I don't know really.

I think I've sepnt 170-180 on mine...but that's because I didn't buy a guitar for 2 because the games arrived a week early *the 2nd* and the guitars hadn't arrived yet, so I just got the game.

GH isn't out for 360... Or if it is, I've gone crazy and can't believe I've missed it.

It's Microsoft which has the proprietary wireless tech... To get the wireless guitar to work it has to have the same technology / software as the wireless controllers.

I'm hoping Microsoft will license it to Red Octane / Harmonix or at least RO or Harmonix will allow Microsoft to make an "official" controller for their game.

I do have a PS2 but I'd rather not get it for that as it's not even plugged in anymore (Hell, I don't even know where it is, I think I let my brother use it so it may be in his room).. though, if GH2 release date is far away for 360 I might get it on PS2.
