Opra + HL2.net = fail?

Opera + HL2.net = fail?

I'm giving Opera a shot, and atm, the big minus for me is the fact that it parses the HL2.net forum page without any of the black borders.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? Is it something to do with the Opra HTML+CSS engine, or just a compatability issue?
 
when i looked at this thread iwas thinking oprah winfrey for some reason lol :D
 
same here. i thought opra was getting in a fight with half life 2 or something, that would be awesome.

Actually Opera is probably the browser that follows the HTML/CSS specs the best. The problem is because of poor coding on the website.

Anyway, you get quite use to them after a few days. Trust me. There very minor.
 
My mom just came running into the room because she was thinking I was having a seizure because I fell on the ground laughing :LOL:
 
black borders? never noticed any ;D and i am not missing anything. so opera is fine for me.
 
Can you post a screenshot? I use Opera and don't see what I think you're describing. What version are you using?

Doesn't really bother me, I'd rather have faster loads and less memory usage than black lines.

EDIT: I really hope Oprah doesn't own this screenshot.

EDIT: I think it might have something to do with the browsers download engine...

EDIT: AND WHY DOES IT KEEP ON ****ING UP DOWNLOADS?

It keeps on giving me these bullshit errors and just randomly stopping file transfers.

Somebody, help meh D:
