Orange Snow in Russia...

Orange Snow in Omsk, Russia

Yesterday a strange phenomena happened in Omsk region Russia.

Pretty vast territory of Omsk region was covered with a snow that had an unusual color. It was orange.

Now we have a few photos, mainly screenshots from Russian TV channels.

There is still no one exact explanation about the origin of orange color of this snow.

More high quality photos of the Martian like snowy terrain would follow shortly.

According to Russian officials the orange snow doesn?t contain any chemical byproducts or any other elements dangerous to human.

Someone has been drinking way too much Fanta. Then just couldn't damn wait to get to a toilet.
 
it;s white with faint orangy patches...far from "ZOMG ORANGE SNOW WTFCHEATINGFAGWALLKILLERH4X!!!!"
 
Last year, the UK was showered with orange 'dust' from the sahara desert, that had been blown into the upper atmosphere and was carried this way by some odd weather patterns. I guess the same could be to blame here - all it takes is a different wind direction.

That's what I suspect. This also occured during medieval times once, in France IIRC. The sky was raining blood, and people thought the end of times had come. lol
 
Thats not news to me, I've seen colored snow lots of places but its usually yellow, wich by the way doesn't taste healthy eighter. :D

From the bbc news site: "Residents have been advised not to use the snow for household tasks or let animals graze on it."
Maybe if they didn't make such suggestions people would be less stupid.. ;)

I doubt its dust, I'd put my money on a chemical spill of some sort.
 
Seems reminiscent of that red rain that India got a while back.
 
If they can get it to snow orange chocolate chip, I might be interested.
 
You know they probably told the workers that were sent in to bury Chernobyl nuclear reactor under concrete that it was safe too.

yeah it was god
he forgot to instal a toilet in heaven,thats why there is rain,all the angels and souls pee on the same time

EDIT:but seriously wtf?
 
Man Russia is so ****ed up. I apologize to all russian users here but I honestly could never ever imagine myself living in Russia.
