Orca's... one of my favourite creatures...

It's funny how the people all start crying when it gets eaten.

You can also see the seal at 3:19 I think in between the two ice glaciers.

I wonder why they let it go... Maybe it's like the filmer said, they were training the young.

training youngsters to hunt is common amongst top tier predators

I love Planet Earth. If any show is deserves the label "epic", it's that one.

"if you can't watch the bullfight you better leave"

that is one tough dude

Great! Now I have a million and one.

I dont think they were just throwing them around for the hell of it, but rather trying to get back off the beach...like, if you run into a burning house to save someone, you will grab them and then do all it takes to get back out...

Someone clearly didn't watch the whole video.

'now what did i tell you timmy?.... don't play with your food!'

I got a little pissed off at the stupid people on youtube saying that this is cruel and so left a comment on there...

To all those complaining that the people should have saved the seal...

How the **** would you like it if i came up to your fat ass in Macdonalds and took away your big mac before you got a chance to eat it, ran outside with it and 'set it free'?

Its a fact of life that seals are the main food source for transient orca's just like bic macs are the main food source of stupid people...

:/

I'm also surprised by this fact i found..

Orcas have one of the most sophisticated ultrasonic sounds of all animals who use this method of communication. Not only do they have regional "dialects", which produce slight variations in sound depending on their geographical distribution but each animal has two distinct 'callsigns'. One which distinguishes them as an individual and another that identifies the pod they belong to.

Seems they use first last names in a round about way??
