Anyone write any original fiction as opposed to fan fiction?

I've been checking out http://www.fictionpress.com for a while, it's like a sister site to http://www.fanfiction.net, but most of the stories seem to be written by retarded 12 year olds on drugs.

I'm looking for some cool cyberpunk stories or any other kind of realistic future stories.

Also, anyone know any sites where people submit amateur comics. Not comics like penny-arcade or ctrl-alt-del though. Serious Marvel/DC kind of comics?

I wrote one back when I was like...7....I kinda kept reworking it threw the years..and I submitted it into a class I had for highschool. I liked it. But it's just silly.

I've been working on a Sci-Fi story with cyberpunk/neo-noir elements. If you wanna see some chapters when I'm done, I'd be glad to show.
