"Visitors to Overclock.co.uk - parts supplier to hardware enthusiasts - were met this morning with a message stating that the company had ceased trading.

We have heard that this closure is related to health issues with one of the owners, it's been a struggle, and they tried to keep the operation running, however this has been up in the air for a while."

I never heard of them, but it is a shame to see it close down.

Shame, never heard of them either, but there's always overclockers. They sell parts too to my knowledge. Not sure if the prices are good but they're always on top of things with the latest news and hardware. Plus their forums are clean and helpful.

I used to follow overclock closely, as they had a good range of stuff for decent prices, however, their site and the variety of hardware they offered went wayward a couple of years ago imo and i haven't used them since.

Scan and Overclockers are my main outlets for hardware. I trust them and they usually have very competitive prices.
