I need braces..but too poor to get them. I'm hoping when my Wisdom Teeth start to come in more, they will push my teeth more together and close a couple of the gaps.....

OR the teeth will start to go over each other..I guess time will tell.

No they don't. But sometimes they are either coming in at odd angles or the dentist determines that you don't have enough space for them without knocking all your other teeth around making you look like Beetlejuice.

What are you talking about? Lockjaw is caused by tetanus.

Removing wisdom teeth is hell, I know becouse I have had two of them removed.

I've had countless baby teeth pulled (had to be at least 6), and four wisdom teeth.

The baby teeth SUCKED. Of course I was young and a bit of a whimp not ever having to deal with pain. Wisdom teeth was cake, for the most part. Just put me to sleep, yank 'em out, and I went home.

The freezing or whatever started to fade away, and then I was feeling some serious pain, but it wasn't that bad, I just went to sleep.

What are you talking about? Lockjaw is caused by tetanus.

It's not muscular lockjaw. It is the more literal form, where your teeth are forced together really tightly, making it hard if not impossible to open your mouth.

I use them. Dunno why people have so much trouble with 'em. I don't brush my teeth with toothpaste (just water) and my teeth are just lovely.

I had 4 teeth removed and then another one while my braces were still on. It didn't really hurt that bad as long as I remembered to take my Advil. Maybe your dentist borked it up?

I had two pulled off. They had to slice a few parts to extract it more easily. Aah, I like the word extract. It takes me back to the day when I felt the bone sliding gently out of my flesh and into the metallic container where it was later disposed of.

I remember when...something was going on. I don't quite remember what it was, but I had to get shots into my gums to numb them...dear god, that was horrible. I hate shots and then having them jabbed into my gums..my eyes water every time.

I had to get some caps and such in my teeth as a kid. Boy those were no fun. I got a cavity *I THINK..it might end up being pain from my wisdom teeth...since it only occurs for a week-two at a time, then stops..*
