Looks fake, tbh.

They would still have to build a twelve thousands Pisa Tower just for this purpose... I don't think so.

Probably fake. If it was real, the guy would have broken down immediately and started crying like a little girl.

Still kinda funny though.

Man, if thats real, i feel sorry for the guy.
I did kinda laugh but felt bad.

Either way... pretty amazing.

The old mans horrible acting gave it off, he was cracking a smile to begin with which blew the cover immediatly. Then when he just said "I don't know what to say" with such unsincerity just completely gave it away.

I have learned your can't read into peoples reactions too much. Not everyone reacts to situations you would expect them to. Some people smile get smiles on their face when they have absolutly no idea how to react in a situation, my brother had a fiance who died just 3 months before their wedding last year and he says when people who don't know that ask questions which bring that up they feel so bad they immediatly tell jokes because that is how they deal with an uncomfortable situation.

This thing could be real.. the thing that makes me suspicious is who uses a mic with a wire anymore?

But it could

Yeah it was fake. Seems like a lot of work to put into a joke however. I could believe it's real but why did the guy have to walk to the other side of the structure?

Why the heck is this fake?

Last time I put work into something and then broke it (Cost me $200 too), when I realized what I had done I just sort of stared at it in shock for about a minute. I'm sure that guy was ready to start swearing which is why he walked off.
why did the guy have to walk to the other side of the structure?
Reporters are idiots, they like to walk around stuff and show it off.

True...I can definately believe this is real and it could also be fake. I am leaning towards real since that structure would be too much for comedys sake and the way the camera guy shot was more interview style and less comedy since it focused on the reporter and less on the structure/coming up damage.

Yeah, someone really needs a job if they assemble something like that for a joke.

So they built this Tower of Pisa model out of bricks, which probably could have made it into the record books just to knock it down for some fake video?

Right, nice logic.

Precisely.

Well, taking the assumption that this was for a TV network (if the Guiness guys were going to see it, I'm sure it would be), it's fake. The "interviewer" says "uh" multiple times and the camera was very shakey. Plus, he's smiling as he says "I don't know what to say." Yes, people would react is different ways but I would think that that reaction wouldn't expressed.

Just because you expect somone to react in a certain way and then dont, doesnt mean their acting... but it could be fake or real.

Depends how far people are willing to go to make you ask the very question 'why fake it?'.

It happened to me once. I built this wonderful tower with all my toys, like the tower of Babel. It took me like a month putting my sparetime in this.

Than, one day I got home and I hear my cousin is at our house too, and he already went to my room to play. When I got there, everything was broken.

I just didn't know what to say, and just ran off, like the guy in the video.

Yup, Cousin's are assholes. And that newsguy is too.

lawl. I don't think it's 'fake' since that would be pointless.

Remember the first email someone posted here back in day claiming Gabe had responded to him and was sending him some Half Life 2 merchandise?

Everyone was psychoanalysing the email on why it was a fake and how Gabe wouldn't mispell this or type something like that.

5 pages of flames later Gabe came on and said it was real.

I am not saying this is video is NOT a fake... but it still could be real. We should email myth busters. lol

Human behavoir is one of the most unpredictable things on the planet.

BUt it's the intarwebs!

I can't say I found that funny, you could see it coming a million miles away. Plus I do agree it's not genuine.

If the old guy randomly farted and it all fell down, that would be funny.

agreed.
it seems most things that get posted around these parts called 'fake'
im not saying everything is real...but it seems like a tradition to call things fake even if they might just be real.
