P-228 is a one shot Headshot kill, like the Dealge, but it fires faster, and has mild recoil. Aim for the head, and you will get kills. It also has the most pistol rounds per clip, and does more damage than the USP.

Oh true...
But the glock does less dmage than you spitting on them so it sohuldn't count! That also applies to the FiveseveN.

fiveseven is good for getting headshots in my experiences... glock is weak, but the 3 round burst helps it become a decent backup weapon for when you and your target are hopping around both trying to reload your primary weapons, most of your health knocked off etc..

i used to use it all the time, it's a mean lean head shot machine basically but if you're just aiming at the body then it's like the 5-7 and its a pea shooter then.

It tolerates mistakes much better than the Deagle because of its low recoil and high ammunition.

Well, there's this guy that plays on the server I mostly play on that's a DE God. Seriously.
He'll take out 5 people just using a DE, and then mop up with another weapon. It's really amasing.

TBH i cannot kill crap with the FiveseveN, but i can kill loads of poeple with the p228. I think my running record was seven kills with a 228 against people with other weapons.

There are no noob guns, only noob players. Besides the desert eagle has been my favorite for almost five years now.

the p228 and the compact are so under appreciated pistols, its sad really.
i dunno...i just find more satisfaction in getting a kill with one of these pistols over the deagle, usp or glock.

Actually no, it's pretty f*ckin' good.

I only buy deagles 15% of the time, usually I'll get a fiveseven or a p228.

the five-seven is use full in wide open areas. first you get a hit to slow them down and you follow up by shooting every .4 seconds. as for the p228 it is good for close to mid range combat, rate of fire depedent on range and acuracy.

I dunno if they've changed it for CS:S but the p228 has higher armor penetration than the other guns except for Deagle...

I sometimes buy it when I'm t, but I find that the recoil pattern is too glock-ish(=crap) so usually I choose USP or deagle over it.

To me, the p228 is like a slower 57. It also seems weak to me, but I know the 57's probably weaker...

The 228 is my standard sidearm. Its almost more powerful then the USP and glock, and a load more versatile then the Deagle. The extra six bullets allows for dealing with considerably more targets, and generally comming out of a battle alive. Plus, it packs a punch. Did I mention it packs a punch?

To all who said it was a more expensive glock:

I would call the FiveseveN a more expensive glock. To me the glock is very accurate when firing as fast as possible, but does 6-10 dmg per hit. The FiveseveN is also about the same. The P-228 does both more damage per hit and is about the same in accuracy, maybe a little worse, but the one shot HS kill makes up for it IMHO.

The burst mode for the glock though makes up for its crap damage. Catch someone with a burst in the face and it takes em out.

I don't like the DE that much; its clip size is too small. I like the large clip guns like the Glock and FiveseveN.

FiveseveN is better than the p228. DE is NOT a noob gun. It has 42 shots with the extra ammo purchased. The glock has 120... Plus the DE has 7 shots/clip which calls for lots of relaoding.
