They need to start optimizing their CPU's insted of just clocking them higher and higher. AMD can do it.

The only flaw of Tom's article is why on earth would they be using cheap thermal grease after they removed the heatsink once? I wouldn't be surprised if my Athlon XP started shutting down/thermal throttling or whatever if you used the cheap stuff.

On the other hand, I guess we found out the true reason why Intel doesn't want to reach 4.0 GHz.
