Hi everyone,
I'm new, so I hope this is the right place to ask this.
I was wondering if this program:http://doom3.filefront.com/file/DOOM_3_Relief_Mapping;50039 (used here on Doom 3), could be modified to work on Half-Life 2. The program itself is called normal2depth.exe and converts .tgas to depth maps, which then, through some mysterious process, appear as relief maps in the game.
So, is this possible in Source? Or does the engine not support such a thing? Is it an OpenGL only thing?
Thanks,
Lonely Soldier
