Well it's Friday night, so naturally it's time to.... well, time to sit in my room* and ask a bunch of strangers what tunes you recommend when you're in the mood to party.

* I am a loser, but the main reason I'm at home on my own on a Friday is I'm broke at the moment....

At the moment Q And Not U sounds good to me for partying, definitely Ninja High School (www.myspace.com/ninjahighschool, check out the song Jam Band Death Cult, seriously ****ing awesome stuff), I just discovered this awesome french band from Quebec called Malajube (www.myspace.com/malajube), very addictive poppy stuff, lots of fun, and then there's Refused's The Shape Of Punk To Come if you're feeling kind of like hardcore party mood

Don't be ashamed man, just fire up the cheeky girls, the vengaboys, steps and all of that mince and have yourself some solo musical chairs, pass the parcel and pin the tail on the donkey.

:D !

Er, at the moment I'm rockin' (as much as is possible): Girls Aloud, Disco Classics Vol I, Scissor Sisters and Blondie....

Solo musical chairs... that sounds kinda naughty.

I don't listen to much party music, i guess the only song i like you could qualify as Party song is Give it away-RHCP

and i guess the new DFA 1979 cd

Andrew WK - Party Hard = 2nd best party song ever
Beastie Boys - Fight For Your Right (To Party) = 3rd best party song ever

Andrew Fights For His Right (both songs mashed together) = Ultimate party happy fun time!

Primus - The Brown Album.

Worked at the last party I was at anyway. Fun fun fun music.

Me and my friends usually listen to the album "The Times They Are A-Changin'" by Bob Dylan when we get together, but that's only because we're a bunch of classic rock nerds

Two bands immediately came to mind: LCD Soundsystem and Need New Body. Both are funky beyond belief.
