So, I get back from the library to find the second wierd/funny email of the day:

It doesn't take the captain of a starship or a superhero with special powers to change the world. It takes people like you.

As an actor whose work stretches from science fiction to Shakespeare, I am often asked why I am Labour. No matter how many times the question is put to me, it always takes me by surprise. I could not imagine being anything else. I am a lifelong Labour supporter. I am proud of the beliefs we carry as Labour supporters and I am proud of our achievements - more people helped into work than ever before, record investment in our schools and hospitals, crime and anti-social behaviour falling with more Community Support Officers serving local communities.

As Patron of the Party's supporters' network, thank you for registering as a Labour supporter.

Your support really does count. I decided to become more than a supporter. I joined the Party and I'm glad I did. You can do as little or as much for us as you like. But for just £3 a month, you are helping us pay for the campaign equipment we need to help fight the Tories and build a better Britain.

Thanks again for your support.

P.S. Please don't forget those important elections for your local councillors on 4 May. You can help in a campaign near you. If you've got elections, don't forget to use your vote for Labour.

:O

Hehe...I wonder if its really him. Often people write little things like this using a celebrity likeness because it makes people sit up and think about them. Snopes is full of them, but it doesn't mean they're bad things.

"As an actor whose work stretches from science fiction to Shakespeare, I am often asked why I am Labour."

Anything with an ego that big should be punched in the ovaries.

Labour propaganda! they know picard is popular on the net so they write emails in his name.. blasphemy!

Well if Patrick Stewart says it, then its gotta be true. That man would never lie to me. A man who kept me safe from the Borg would never lie to me...

I thought you meant Patrick Moore originally. So I have prepared a story:

"Games Master, how do I beat Dr. Robotnik at the end of Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"You'll have to say 'please', I don't deal with young upstarts"

"Games Master, please tell me how to defeat Dr. Robotnik at the end of Sonic the Hedgehog!"

"OK, I'll tell you, young Timmy. Take your ballot card to the polling station. Get your name crossed off the list, and go into the polling booth. Put an 'X' in the box next to Labour. Continue to fire the X button until David Cameron has been destroyed. Place your ballot card in the voting box. You will then get to see the glorious ending sequence as Dr. Robotnik makes a getaway in his Egg-o-matic. By the way, I'm a Neo-Conservative."

Also, we should get GamesMaster (Patrick Moore) to fight Jack Thompson.

I remember some chanel started playing those and I was thinking "Hey, a new games show, it doesn't have much competition, I wonder how good it is" I burst out laughing when I turned it on and they were doing speed runs of Echo the Dolphine and stuff like that.

Isn't the Labor (Labour? you crazy brits... ;)) party the one that is pushing a compulsory nation-wide ID card?
D:

Yes, the Labour party is Labour in name only. Meaning that they don't stand for the same principles that the rest of the Labour parties over the world stand for.

Yes, and I for one will do prison time rather than carry an ID card. Labour are scum.
