Paying for writing assignments, is it cheating you think?

I don't really see what the moral of that story is. Your friend was stupid and cheated all wrong. If you're gonna cheat, make sure you do it right. Be so sure in fact, that you stop just short from acctually studying. And don't confess if you get cought jesus christ. Principles! God damn.
Anyway, nothing bad really happend.

It's not even terribly hard to write essays.

Its not that hard to write mediocre essays. Its still frustrating getting a sufficient number of words on paper, but not hard.

Except for when its a term paper with horribly vague instructions like "write a paper about an industry or concept of choice and express its significance in today's world in relation to one of the core topics discussed in class. 3-5 pages minimum

Yeah. right. When I get an assignment like that, I'm lucky if I make it past 1 page.

One time I had to write a 7-8 page paper in one of my business classes. I only made it to 2 full pages (3 if you count the bibliography) and I was very grateful to get a C because I would have torn my hair out if I tried to meet the page requirements.

But even if there are zero chances of getting caught with a custom written paper, there is an uncomfortably high chance that either the site in question will be a money leeching scam or the paper will be total garbage (even by my diminished standards)

Moral of the story is don't cheat and especially don't cheat and pay the person money. I did a little disclaimer to him as well. I warned him that they may not be right. ;)

not only is it cheating, but its not worth it. you wont get anything out of the class.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people go to school, without realising why they're at school (for those of you who're in this category: to learn).
