PC Gamer (US) Review

PC Gamer's website (www.pcgamer.com) shows their current issue on the newsstand is (finally!) their HL-2 review issue.

Anyone pick up a copy yet? Did they really give it a 98%? I'll be dashing off on my lunch break to see if the local newsstands have the new issue out yet.

I'm curious...would that be the December issue? I haven't bought them in a long time but I went to the store yesterday to try and find one, but they had the november issue....strange that the december one comes out in October

I stopped by my local Barnes & Noble yesterday and they still had the UK October issue on the shelves! They weren't sure when they would see the US Dec. issue but its got to be pretty soon so I'll swing by again today on my way home from work.

from what the "cons" were.. i can't say what they were, can I? I'd go ahead and give it a 99 out of 100. Besides, the stuff that was in the con section can easily be fixed with a patch i'm guessing

You can say the pros and cons. You can even quote parts of the review. Just no links to scans of the magazine.

Cons: Squadmates sometimes get in your way.
Low res textures in huge outdoor areas.

Pros: Everything else.

Conclusion: Surpasses Half-Life in every possible way. Arguably the best game ever made.
