pc wont start

this morning I wanted to start my computer and it just wouldn't start,there was no BEEP and it didn't even load the bios. I thought of mayby a stupid virus that flashes the bios, but when I changed the motherboard I had the same problems and I don't think that a virus can be loaded before the bio does. I changed my powersupply but that didn't help either.
does someone have an idea what it could be?

btw my system: Asus a7n8x-x, amd sempron 2800+, 512mb ram, ati radeon 9600XT 128mb, soundblaster 24bit audigy LS(5.1), 80GB maxtor.

what were you doing last time ur pc was on ?

If you didn't do anything to it before it stopped working, then try removing all unessential hardware like optical drives, pci cards, neon lights etc. This might help in trying to narrow down a faulty componant.

i found it it was my graphics card, its broken

My mate had exactly the same problem as you, except the problem was his HDD
