Bought my first PC a while back and had a few PS2's and a couple of XBoX's but after seeing the potential of a PC and that 95% of games that come out always end up on the PC, I have always stuck with it. I will continue to stick with it for a good long while yet

Consoles for actual new games, PCs for all my DOS, Atari ST, Amiga and C64 game needs.
Basically, I don't give a shit about platforms, all that matter is that the game is good, and mind you, some consoles do have good exclusives that sadly don't make it to PC, I bought the 360 mainly for Dead Rising and Mass Effect, and Oblivion in the beginning for example, but I'm getting a new comp able to run Oblivion maxed on the PC next week so I'm buying it then

Only reason I like Consols are for their RPG's... I bought the PS2 for FFX and FFXII.

6 months? I don't remember GTA 3 and GTA: VC but GTA: SA was launched in October, 2004. It was released for PC in June, 2005. That's 8 months.

Far as gaming goes PCs will never be replaced for some things - most RTS and FPS for instance, and the modding communities for things like Half-Life - but I still lean towards consoles for many other types of games - racing, fighting, RPGs, third-person pretty much anything, and of course offline multi. Besides that, consoles are just easier

Also (not meaning to sound like a console fanboy here, I support both), PCs could never do something like the Wii is doing. And yeah, I know Microsoft had the Sidewinder all those years back, and it would be possible to make a control like this for PC, but not with the backing that Nintendo's system has since it's an integral part of the system. In other words, consoles have the advantage of being able to focus on one thing and do it well, whereas PCs will always be a multimedia platform - which has it's advantages to gaming aswell.

So like, everyone's a winner in their own SPECIAL way ^_^
