PCZ screenshots **potential spoilers**?

Hmm,

I've read the print off this magazine over the weekend, and looked at the screenshots over and over again. I'm convinced there are 2 potential spoilers in there, which is a tad disappointing

1) One screenshot shows Alyx telling Gordon to 'go after' Mossman, this is followed by another screenshot which shows a crosshair on Mossman. Now, doesn't Gordon normally lower weapons at 'friendlies'?
2) In another screengrab, it appears that DOG has jumped onto a Combine dropship. At first I thought it was a Strider, but closer inspection reveals it to be Dog. Could this scene be where Dog 'bites the bullet'?

no, i actually won't. i have like 3 copies of it, and i was staring at them for like 6 hours. they're not really spoilers, but could potentially relate to facts ingame. and besides, wasn't it posted somewhere that there were intended spoilers in it?

No, Anthony Holden says he has avoided giving away any of the plot...but those screens 'could' portray otherwise.

Also i noticed this, if it's right then a new enemy to fight, i'll say no more...

Also the ship dog has jumped onto if you look carefully has two blue thrusters, maybe this is a different type of gunship? the one from the videos has a big propeller thing on it, this is surely a different type of combine ship.

I see variation cz, its not the same for sure! watch coast or coastline whatever one it is, then compare it...totally different shapes and everything!

Since when does dropship == gunship? It's a dropship, not a gunship

Yeah i know i looked about and saw my fault, this picture shows it after its dropped the strider, with its arms out stretched, just threw me off. Pretty cool picture, no spoiler here though :imu:

Anyone see the screenshots in pcgameplay? Those were far worse in terms of spoilers. There was one featuring breen on the last page on that looked very.. revealing.

Wasn't that a combine gunship from the old coastline vid? I'm sure that's just the combine dropship, I've read from PCGamer UK they drop in striders which are somehow attached (and all folded up) to the bottom of them, as well as troops etc. It shows a screen of a strider, and the dropship right above it, but in the PCZ Screen, after a closer look, it is Dog who im clambering on the bottom of a dropship

In the PCZ Review, they mention "Poision" and "Fast" Zombies? Any one know of any screens showing these? Never heard of 'em.

Fast zombies can be seen in the E3 video with Father Gregori.

Poison zombies have so far only been leak material.

Negative, but they sound similar to the grunts from hl1 in the sense of their variety. Some had pistolas, while others had shotties.
