Yep you read right:
The Pentagon cannot account for 190,000 AK-47 rifles and pistols given to Iraqi security forces in 2004 and 2005, or about half the weapons earmarked for soldiers and police, according to a government report.
Just in time for the emanate Al-Qaeda attacks here! :cheese: Why is'nt Bush more concerned about this rather than creating new bills to spy on us? Why Bush WHY!??! :flame: http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/08/06/iraq.weapons.reut/index.html

Where could they of possibly gone?, hmm I wonder. Al-Qaeda was probably one customer.

Whoops! My bad. I guess I added a couple too many 0's when I told my group to steal some weapons! Damn decimals!

Whats new? Government always funds terrorism in some way

Of course nothings new, it's just still astounding that all we can manage to muster is a few curse words and some surprise at what our public servants allow to happen.
This is obviously driven by the arms industry who are incredibly powerful, no doubt stopping their business is a pretty tall task.

But if we had a majority of competent servants in government with atleast a bit of backbone, then we would have a much better chance of finding out how the hell these companies get away with arming both sides of a war without so much as a fart from the nearest nervous person.

Heh, how hard is it to 'lose' 190,000 weapons.

lol you guys do realize that those weapon were meant for the Iraqi security forces, but sadly a large part of the police that patrols the street at day attack US troop at night.Thats why the weapons are missing the US is not at fault concerning these missing weapons.

It's no secret that the security forces are infiltrated by insurgents and terrorists. It's not hard to imagine how they lost them.

maybe mistaked boxes

"hey this this bosex are of garbage right? ok trow it into the incinerator"
*metal and bullet firing start to sound*
"oops"
