Perfect Dark Update

Perfect Dark was my favorite N64 game (Yes, I liked it more than goldeneye) I am really glad to hear it is being recreated on source engine.

yeah PD was a nice game... I hope they add in the disarm ability if they are gonna put unarmed combat in.

Oh yea disarm was one of the best parts of PD. They also have to add that hazy effect when you get hit that always made me dizzy. Me and my buddy us to play slappers and TranquilIzer gun only that was crazy fun.

does anyone have a clue as to where you could get a ROM of PD?

and before the warez police arse rape me it' not illegal for me to get one since i already own the game

I had a ROM, but trust me - your PC keyboard is a really crud replacement for the 15-button N64 control pad. :x

The only thing worth doing with a Perfect Dark ROM is putting your own face in it, with that rarewitch face mapper program :E

i found the ROM, and it works too

i also have a controller and a USB converter, but although it shows up in the control panel as a "HID compliant game controller" it doesn't work when i try to set control options in Project64's controller option

I must have completed the N64 game at least 10 times, and loved it every time. The game was better than Goldeneye for me. Shame about the frame rate and God awful voice acting though. I think I'll go dig out my old N64... :farmer:

THANK GOD!!!! I love PD and have been wating for this for years. Maybe they can use Jonny Phive's Facility (it was in PD as well ya know!)

wow this really kicks ass. perfect dark was truly one of the best n64 games, and at the time it was the best fps around. So far this mod looks promising, i just hope they can complete it!!

The one thing that would make this absolutely OWN is if they can remake essentially the ENTIRE game and all aspects of it. (all weapons, all characters, all levels, all functions, etc)

This mod is gonna take a while, but if they can manage to finish it off with all the goodies of the original, i think this mod will be one of the best out there by far. Good luck to the team making this, do us all proud!
