Performance Help

I just downloaded PCMark05 and my score was about 1000. I thought this was kinda shocking cause i have a p4 3.0ghz 512mb ram, pc2700 i think and a 9800xxl (its a brand specific card, benchmarks identify it as a 9800xt). I tried to defrag, and run less processes but it changed nothing so i tries pcmark01. When i first got the comp (2 months ago) i got just over 17000, which i was happy with, then this time it dropped to 11000. I ran a spyware removal program, did nothing. Is there any easy way to get that score back? or is it my hardrive being used up or something like that? any help would be appreciated, i hope i dont sound confusing.

What drivers arre you using?
The new omegas are very good. Are you sure your motherboard drivers are all installed?

yea i got 1961 on my comp with 3d mark 05, i thought that was low but i guess it isnt

ok thanks, im using catalyst drivers 4.9 im pretty sure. I dont know about my mobo drivers though, ill check it out

I'm using the 4.10 betas, I think, and look at the score in my sig. Much more than yours. Try new drivers, and 3DMark Hotfix 110

you want better performance? MORE RAM! lol, that'll definitely do a lot for your machine

w00t, i dont know what i did, but i ran 05 again and my score was 2245. thats alot better. thanks for the help anyway guys
